Sorry my freind but what you've just described doing is almost as long and finikity to do as just taking off the bumper plus it's easier to get at. Another thing is any problems and you end up having to get the whole thing out anyway so better do it properly before you start. Shitty design but...
Maybe it's the way I described it! I certainly wouldn't want to remove the bumper as well as the screws etc from the headlamp. That was the first and only time I have done it, I took my time and it took me 20 minutes. If I had to do it again I reckon I could do it in half the time. If people want to remove the bumper that's cool with me but I don't because I probably would be able to get it back on again! Thanks for the comment!
