Using this software for multiple years...really long list of features...powerful and good value. Thank you for the time and effort put into updating the software over the years.
You would not need to be connected to the Internet to log QSOs. You would only need Internet if you want to enable on line services such as DX Spotting, Callbook lookup, etc.
Great color scheme change options except one, is it possible to change all the white areas on the page to a different color? I’m visually impaired and all that white causes trouble for me, I can only look at all that for about 20-30min max before I need a 2-3 hour break. DC WP4TGK
Ok, I bought and downloaded the logging software. I'm using FT8 and FT4 currently. How do I (or where is the video) where I can get the logging information so that the contacts I make, on FT8/4, will be written to the N3FJP ALC software?
Hi Eugene, you will need to use a data source, such as QRZ, that will return county. If you have any more questions, please e-mail direct. I seldom check the YT page for support questions.
Hi Frank, please see the video on networking (unfortunately UA-cam won't let me post a link, but you'll find it in the play list, or on the network help page on my web site). Enjoy!
If you monitor your older videos, how would you flag something like the 3905 Century Club Net which has 75m Early/Late; 160m; 40m Early/Late; 40m CW; 80m CW and 80 RTTY. There are more, but how would you go about this? I would want to flag and export these CCN contacts to the logging program that the Net uses. Oh, and there's HHH also. I have an adi file converted from LogPlus .dbf (DOS) from many years ago. (I'm half way through the video and I have to get to bed and will finish tomorrow).
AC Log is designed with Amateur Radio logging in mind, but we have a number of SWL users too. You can customize the main entry form to your preference by clicking Settings > Edit Fields Displayed.
Have been off ham radio for some time. Log I use now ,well old school. Wanting to get back in to hamming again. So if I have to many questions, sorry. Technology has changed a lot. Be back need to put the station back together. de KQ4CDPaul

Yes, to change the white text to a different forecolor, click Settings > Appearance > Colors and Fonts and select your desired forecolor.
Is it possible to extract the Bearing & Distance for all stations in my log?
Thanks for developing the software and this great video. Do you have a video that explain how to upload my contacts for QSL reporting?
Thanks so much for your kind words! Yes, you will find the LoTW video on the LoTW page on my web site:
www.n3fjp.com/lotwhelp.html
What does it mean when I'm entering a contact and it shows "Need" for one of the boxes?
Need C means need confirmation (LoTW or card). If you have any more questions, please e-mail direct. Thanks!

Does the AC Log Cal data work off line? Is there any off line method for call sign lookup?
Yes, the AC Log Calldata option, once downloaded, works off line.
why does the county not pop up automatically on mine

Can you change the sort order on the log? I would like to see the last entry at the bottom of the list and not the top.
I think if you click “Date / Time” in the column view, it will sort in either direction.
Jeff

Hi RW Prime, you could always use one of the Other fields to designate specific nets. If you have any more questions, please e-mail direct. Enjoy!
