- OnePlus launched the OnePlus 12R in India starting at 39,999 Rupees for the 128GB base variant which comes with UFS 3.1 storage but the higher end variant with 256GB is equipped with the faster UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and comes with Oxygen OS 14 based on Android 14.

The Aquatouch coating is the biggest improvement to my eyes.
Personally (I'm only talking about myself here, not for the masses), I don't mind the compromises this phone has. A good all-rounder with okayish cameras are my priority, and this phone fits the bill, especially with their battery.
But its not waterproof bro. Ip64 is not that good

Bruh not having USB 3.0 does not affect charging speed. Only data transfer through cable will be slower.
What about trinity engine? Do the 12r have it or not? What about oppo reno 11 pro ,its good for daily day usage and even for casual hours of gaming. Make a comparison vedio of 12r and reno 11pro that will be very helpful for many of us thank you.

Good info about base variant storage speeds... But you hardly talked about the camera as that's quite an important difference between 12 and 12R actually makes all the difference I might say.

Not a big issue, if we compare it with its prices..specs are decent...its better to buy 12r having SD gen 2 at 40k instead of buying exynos at 60k+....value proposition is 👍🏻...good for average users

If 12R was 8-256 for 40K it would have been as solid as 11R, but now 256 is a necessity and 47K for 12R is not worth it, you can get OnePlus 11 itself around 50K

Yes, UFS 4.0 is more than twice as fast as UFS 3.1 in random read-and-write operations, so there will be a difference in app loading times and also in loading games.

UFS 4.0 Storage is made by Samsung which is currently available in 256 GB variant only that's why OnePlus is unable to pack it with 128 GB variant.
I heard there was 4 years of software support in OnePlus 12 series

There is no e-SIM Support in the OnePlus 12R.
I will stick to my oneplus 11 until it can not run anymore. Still running like new no bugs, super stable. Only have 98% battery life since buying in april. Phone is giving me 2 days with 8 hours of SOT.
Sir, I bought OnePlus 12r just for good hardware and UI. I don't care about other gimmick things. I have 3 mi phones (note 5pro, 10pro and 9 power) all have motherboard issues and ui problems. Repairing shops are telling that don't buy mi phones. And I think cheap products like REALME and mi have hardware problems.
How is your experience currently with one plus 12r?

Any phone 128 gb storage won't come with ufs 4.0 speed. UFS 4.0 is supported with minimum 256 gb storage. Get ur fact straight boss
