You mentioned how sometimes when you try to quit an app it doesn't work (for games only) This is actually a feature in OnePlus called mistouch prevention, it's so that u dont accidentally quit a game (can be turned off if u want) But overall it definitely improves gaming experience So yeah, it's not a problem, rather a feature for better usability

After watching many, many reviews on the OnePlus 12R, every one of which highlighted that phone's outstanding performance and features at it's mid-range price, I decided to trade in my 4-year old OnePlus 8 a couple of days ago. Although I have loved every minute with my OnePlus 8, it has reached the point where OnePlus no longer supports it or sends any updates, so I think it is time to get a new phone. I ordered my new 12R on the OnePlus website and they gave me a $145.00 trade-in for my current phone, so I am very happy and looking forward to having my new 12R in cool blue delivered tomorrow! I was a huge apple fan, literally had every iPhone from the 7 up to the 14 plus then I decided I wanted a real change not just a slightly different looking camera or a slightly different color and that is why I bought the OnePlus 12R, long story short if you're thinking about switching don't think just do it and you will be more then glad you did so, the battery life is unexplainably better than iPhone, the true bezeless design makes the screen on OnePlus look far better than iPhone, and even Oxygen OS is amazing yes it is android however it is really simple to learn and doesn't make everything seem "scattered/messy" like some other androids have been known to do but not with Oxygen OS on OnePlus, I can not recommend this phone enough especially at the $550-$600 range it is insane it honestly feels like a $1200 phone in my opinion

On the Geekbench 6 test I didn't see the Oneplus Hi Performance icon displayed, but it was on the 3D Mark test. Is that why the Geekbench score was lower than expected?
I got 680.00 for my iphone 14p. From Oneplus towards my 12. As a trade in. Could not be more pleased. My other phone is a S21 Ultra an we will see how it compares. I do not see value in iphone anymore. Constantly Slow Charging is a pain icons are always a mess. Scrolling is not smooth like android. Never buying Iphone again.
There is this feature called Mistouch Prevention in the System Navigation settings which when turned on will make you swipe twice while watching videos or playing games. That's why you had to swipe twice on OnePlus devices to leave some apps. You can turn it off and you don't have to swipe it more than once. I saw you talk about that while speed testing on other OnePlus devices, I hope you won't have to mention that anymore. Cheers!

You got such a low score on Geekbench on the 12R because you shut off "performance mode" earlier in the video. The iPhone 15 Pro Max would still smoke it, but the 12R score isn't accurate.
Just ordered one for my second phone I'm pretty happy with my Samsung Zflip 4 but I could use a second for my work phone. I think you all ignore an important factor in some of these reviews and I'm not talking to you specifically, but all content creators. It's not all about specs, cameras, and screens but Eco-systems and I think
Apple and Samsung have monopolies on that and then there are watches with both having specific abilities that only work if you have that branded phone. Sure specs, screens, and all that are fun but if you're invested in themes. fonts etc for Samsung and iPhone apps it doesn't make sense to switch to One Plus as your primary phone because you lose everything not to mention the watches of either brand won't work as smoothly or completely with One Plus.
I switched my Pixel 7 pro for the 12R.... And yes 12R feel cheap in body but wow is way different... Battery... Performance... Connectivity.... Calls.... And I don't have heating issues at all.... So I have P7pro... The Stand... Cases... Ect For sale at 200
don't know why u got so low score on sd 8 gen 2 , i have Zenfone 9 with sd 8 plus gen1 and got 1797 with 4600 multi , so definitely something it's going on here , hopefully they don't do this like on pc where they disable some cores and sell it as a medium chip of so it's bad ,

Actually the iPhone provides a lot of value. iOS apps are highly optimized and utilize their devices potential. But they also lack some things. Ultimately it depends on you, which system you prefer.

Stop calling it speed test if you're testing app opening speeds, literally not about speed at all, I can reduce animation duration and it'll be even faster on Android
they need to make the oneplus 12 like 6.1 I would love it too. The 6.8 inch is way to big and they should also make it decrease the sides too so it is not to big too like the sony phones. How it is tall, but less wider on the side.

Oneplus is faster because it has a newer chip capable of Wifi-7. Iphone although it's a new chip but old inventory during pandemic time, only capable of Wifi-6e. If the chip not capable of Wifi-7 it's an old chip just rebranded.
I love my new op12r. I finally upgraded from s7 edge after 7 years 😂 insane battery life and the super fast charging is my fav. Im a gamer and this is perfect for me. Camera isnt the best but its ok since i barely use them

The 12R destroys the NP2, but it wont be noticeable in daily useability, except for the 12R's longer battery life. Get whichever you like more.
