This presentation indicates that Nigeria is aware of both the economic challenges and their solutions! The trouble is why, under heavens, does the government not show any determination to get out of the mess? Why does it court borrowing from the West and borrowing from domestic sources permanently and without due regard to credit worthiness? When will borrowing by African states stop? They have been doing so since 1960, but none of them has become self-sufficient economically. If this is not a curse, what is it?

You have points but you wouldn't have point to APC, who is behind your point? that will give you insight of where the fire is coming 😅. Dude fucked up, the excess printing and loan rejection by Sanusi was what removed him from the post. Emefiele ruined the economy, there's more to this in terms of social science, money is the incentives that drives our current age services. The money was just printed and borrowed, without proportional balance of services and goods, what now made it worsen is that most of allocated money is not in the Nigeria, e dey offshore accounts, another grand illusion. Figure sitting in aza without investing it or using to attracts another money back to the domestic Bancho. Above all we also contributed to the current situation because according to the modern money mechanism we use, majority of us are illiterate to this system, including the misinformed leaders. Na why dem think say money na to be created an loot or mismanaged it, i once ask myself are u sure Emefiele is aware about the broad knowledge of finance. He leveraged on the ignorance of the Buhari Administration as he's the Number one self acclaimed citizen, na y we go crucify two of them along side there MOF & AG. From there u can see the supervisor, engineer, distributor and pay officer. Use those thieves to catch the remaining one, na just simple objectives that protest should be for. Na then we go know say na all of them be thief 😅😅😅😅😅.

I have studied this country closely and come to one resolution vis-a-vis the fact that it is sinking into the quicksand quite fast. Our predisposition to materialism translates into high marginal propensity to consume. It doesn't matter if you have to screw up over 200 million Nigerians to deliver you good for your lies and scams. It cuts across public offices. Much of that can be attributed to the fact that we are trying to be like America even when we don't have what it takes or haven't done the work and paid the sacrifice to be like America. Or we can just be Nigerians and not have to trade our cultural values for an alien culture. But for the lack of sanity, what would make a baby fresh from the womb want to screw up people to deliver them good for nothing.
The pastors and religious leaders who ask to pray for the country to get better are some of the worst scammers in this country. With the education sector being a complete show for shame, it is easy to brainwash and hoodwink the gullible Nigerians. You put much effort, research, creativity and thought into your work. In a sane society, someone like you would have more recognition than you currently do. But we would rather lend our ears to hoodlums and riffraffs. This is indicative of the fact that people don't concern themselves with your kind of preaching. Jude Bela even you are reducing the country's problem to the president and the presidency. I think that's myopic.
When I mentioned abdicated responsibility or bring up the subject matter of morality and the need to live forthrightly during talks, I see where a lot of people miss a lot of lessons. That subject matter bores people out. I am saying this because everything wrong with this country I saw it coming. When I mentioned during Buharis administration that the next would be worse, they told God forbade like I was speaking negativity into Nigeria out of sheer pessimism. Take Tinubu out of government and replace him who ever you see fit to run this country and see whether he will not screw up big time.

i agree with you, Nigeria is trying to be like the west and we are not, we would never be. Colonization already broke Nigeria, we need to heal from within, but greed and the love for foreign things are why the current leaders won't let go. Then mix that with tribalism and religion, its already a disaster waiting. We need to redefine Nigeria and what we as one people want from our nation and government but we have to move at a slow pace, rebuild the trust in our land and our people. we have the population but divided we will always fall.. just my 0.02 cents.

One of the criteria of being in politics in Nigeria is being SHAMELESS. you're more likely to become a big politician if you're shameless.
But as we blame politicians, we as citizens have our blame.

the borrowing/debt itself is not the problem. the problem is that it is not spend in areas benefitting the broader population (infrastructure, education, healthcare, etc.). austerity or curbing public expenditure, as we have seen in europe (most recently the uk), is not the answer.

Reconstructed hopelessness. If prayer is a seed and like the sower in the bible it is spread all over the place, some will grow, some will be eaten by the birds of the sky, and some that fall on bad soil will not thrive. Looks like our leaders love option three; just pray for more and throw it away. The true nature of life is that work, hard work is 80% of all successful endeavors and prayer is just 20%. So, our leaders should roll their sleeves and sweat a little bit more sowing the seeds on fertile land as well as caring for the germination , growth and harvesting 24/7. Hope this video meets them in good condition and educates them as to why so-called faceless Nigerians have chosen to go out on the streets to wake them up from their comatose state.

Jude, Jude , Jude... you be the correct son of your papa and you make am proud! unfortunately only a revolution can save us at this point . Ive never seen a thief that changed its ways without getting caught and the potential of facing severe punishment looming. you can not use our joint natural resources to obtain loans and then convert said loans to personal funds after disbursement , mind you Nigeria as a country shouldn't even be borrowing we by now should be at least self sufficient.Nigerians we have kept quiet for faaaaaaaaaar tooooooooo looooooooong!

Just like Kenya Kibaki who was the third President was cautious on borrowing thus the economy boomed during his reign then came Uhuru who had a terrible appetite for debt borrowed to a tune of 8 trillion till he exited his office now his deputy now the President is making it worse borrowing righ left and centre while increasing taxes without any concrete reason thus pushing about 60% of kenyans to poverty.
