I am very curious to see where the Enzo lands long term amongst the lineage of Ferrari hypercars. Apart from the gearbox and illegitimate build numbers, everything about the car is primed to be significant long term. I hope to see it fare well.
There's an Enzo in my state. I know a guy that knows another guy that restored it. We went up to see it. It was amazing. It has the most miles of the Enzo's.

Black Magic Woman was a Fleetwood Mac song. So was The Green Manalishi (Judah Priest also covered Joan Baez's Diamonds and Rust). And their song Oh Well inspired Zep's Black Dog. Hypnotized is their best song, IMHO.
I wouldn't say they are over reaching, they are just different from the European spec. While I was in Germany you're front windows could not be tinted, unless tinted by the manufacturer. Then to get the car even registered you had to pass a pretty decent inspection for it to be deemed road worthy.
The Enzo was my favorite Ferrari when it came out. I didn’t realize they became so popular and rare. I saw a couple of them totaled in the news but that was it.
BASITH PH but then there’s certain rules you need to adhere to. It’s probably better for the cars value to be registered as a legal us spec conversion.
There are about 90 more special Enzo's (including pre and post production a couple of replacement cars and the Enzo's used by Ferrari top brass itself + for company use) 399 where intended for the "normal" public.
I personally know the guy that bought the Pope's Enzo (I saw it first hand myself with inscription under hood), the first time it went up for sale. He sold it since. Never got to see it being driven. I think one of his other Enzos was used in the Punisher movie filmed in Tampa. I never watched close enough to see if it made it into the final cut of the film though.
Ferrari brings amazing cars in to production. Sure limited but if you look at Lamborghini they have there base production cars ,but there higher end models seam to be only offered in super low numbers or one offs that will never come to the market.

I can only imagine Ed's snarky grin growing on his face when John kept saying ONLY 400 Enzo's were made. Lol
