I fully resonate with your story, but notice how we speak perfectly fine when alone, but with others our stutter comes out of no where. It's just a bad mental habit that can be broken by disuse. It never made any sense to me of how I can say my Starbucks order perfectly fine alone 100x, but when the moment came to make the actual order at their establishment, I would freeze and block. I'm just glad I was able to end my 15 year long battle with blocks because like you said in the video, some days my stutter would just drain the life out of me.
This is so relatable because I've also experienced some what you've gone through with your previous job. It's so relatable that it freaks me out a bit. Thanks for sharing!
ah sorry to hear you've gone through a similar thing! its tough!
I also have a stutter and I'm in university, which is already stressful because of the presentations and other stuff, and I'll need to do a summer job this year. I've not applied for a lot of jobs because of the speaking requirements. It's really tough out here
Remember you are entitled to any reasonable adjustments! And they cant discriminate against you. I know its hard, and it will push you out of your comfort zone. But you’ll grow so much!
@seuntimilehin3381 I absolutely hear you on this. I had a passion for interior design and had dreams to become a interior designer but I left university after one year of studies because my stammer made uni presentations very difficult. This was over 10 years ago and I'm still not were I want to be, but I have now realised from life experience where my purpose is in. I wish you all the very best with your studies. 💜

Pretty you are amazing beautiful and just be yourself live life cause even those who don't stutters have some issues that bother them
Thank you!
Hang in there
@georgia and other fellows you can try watching delferro UA-cam channel since i started watching delferro UA-cam channel i stammer less and manage my stutter.
This is such an uncomfortable reality for me but I really thank you for sharing your experience about your work. I am unaware of stammering being a form of a disability. When I try and get assistance, I don't get through as they don't deem it as a disability. Also at your job interviews, do you bring to their attention about your stammer. I avoid this as I feel it can stop my chances in getting the job;I know this is a bad way of thinking. Would love for you to do a video if one should discuss their stammer in a job interview. 💕
Where do you live? I know in the UK it is classed as a disability so there are discrimination laws in place. I can definitely do more videos on this :)
