Leave it to our "Steve"; to come up with another invention that makes things good. Thanks kind Sir...always awesome, to see what you're doing❤. Take care friend...
I did try some on a scrap of Spanish cedar which is a bit lighter than Khaya and got some slight discoloration but not near as much as the piece of Khaya. The concentration of tannin from tree to tree could vary so I am curious if you get similar results. Please post. Steve
Very nice share, Working with real wood can be so gratifying , I am from Argentina, wish we have better sources and stock to make it possible for us to work with wood down this latitudes, Most good wood gets sold over seas , not afordable here, at least not that easy
I am not sure how deep it goes but I did sand with 240 Abranet to make it smooth again without altering the color. I haved applied finish as well and it comes close to the color of Bloodwood. Steve

Thanks Pat. It was just a discovery and far from my invention. Steve

Thanks Howard, sometimes I just need to take a break. Steve
Great idea, gotta try that. 👍😁
Thanks Graham.
Thanks Steve for the heads up on that spray! I have some and I’m going to give it a try on the Mahogany I got!

Wow! I would have guessed your native woods would be more available and less expensive than they are here. Take care. Steve
I like the look. How deep is the new color. Does it stand up to sanding the raised grain?
