The new CFMOTO Papio SS has a 126cc air cooled upright engine, a six speed transmission and the styling that has mini bike enthusiasts around the world taking a second look. Our R&D team dove in to see what kind of added power and style we could make for the little Papio SS.
Our RS-9 Street Series slip-on was a perfect match for the Papio SS styling cues and fits perfectly under the tail section of the little machine. Performance was a hit as well, the Papio SS responded very well adding 4.0 max hp and 4.0 max torque the the 126cc engine. On the street you can really feel the difference and the sound note from the RS-9 is nothing short of legendary. Ditching the stock muffler will save you almost two pounds as well. Now the new Papio SS is even more fun!
Yoshimura's RS-9 is proudly designed, developed and manufactured in Chino, California.

I bought one. Waiting for it to arrive. Going to do my review. Confused though.. Some sites are saying 4.0 horsepower improvement (I find hard to believe) but Yoshi of US says 4% gains. That sounds about right. Any comment?

You can check our website for the Dyno chart. It would be insane to get 4hp from a slip-on small cc engine. Real world it's 4.0%

Hell yeah. I've been waiting for something to come out for the PAPIO SS. I take it this would also work on the PAPIO CL?

Really nice I was wondering if you think a CRF 450 motor or a xr650 motor would swap into that bike easily would definitely appreciate your thoughts or at least any kind of 450cc single cylinder or parallel twin

@@YoshimuraUSA thank you I actually own a 2024 SS that is white and I'm considering having my local drag bike mechanic put something with about 40 horsepower and 30 plus pounds of torque but I'm looking for a light compact engine because these bikes are so light the power to weight ratio would be incredible and you really don't need to add a ton of horsepower to along with an extended swingarm to lengthen the wheelbase and you would have a cool little sleeper bike that would easily compete with 600 superbikes from light to light anyway that's a really cool exhaust that you have made it's good to see people making some aftermarket performance parts for these I hope you have a great day and I wish you the best of luck and everything you do stay safe on two wheels also I think you should recommend to owners that buy this pipe that they should have their local dealer install a bung I believe it's called or something similar to that where the O2 sensor goes into the exhaust because that thing is creating a ton of back pressure way more than needed
