My second Sao Miguel video is now online too and more is coming soon! I also went there in 2015 and uploaded another video series back then! I love the Azores! You should definitely go one day!
I remember ponta delgada was not such a hot spot for tourists, the town reminds me of grand Canaria, san Miguel maquel is just to busy now so sad , and the roads are a nightmare with hire cars think I we come back it will be in February and March, hopefully a bit less busy
I never travel during high season. If you travel high season, you know it is going to be busy. The cities don’t have to be created for tourists? They still are quite authentic. That’s why I love the Azores. They are not ruined/impacted by mass tourism yet. (Even though Sao Miguel is already getting too popular in my opinion) Why are the roads a nightmare? I found the roads very decent! Of course they are bendy and going up and down; there are hills… but nothing too steep except for the northern part to go to Lagoa do Fogo. That was quite steep. I have driven inland roads which probably only farmers use and even those were decent! So I don’t really understand what you are aiming for?
Mooie opnames!
Sorry but I need to correct you! You mentioned just you and those Pine trees. There are no pine trees in Sao Miguel. I used to be a carpenter in the 90s and all Pine we used was imported. Those trees you referred too are the main native trees and are called Criptoméria. Nevertheless, still a beautiful video. Love and miss even more the place I call home.
Hi I am Doing a project on the azores to promote a documentary however the documentary is not shot yet and my group needs footage by December can we use some of your video we have to make about a minute sizzle thank you
My grandma was from Sao Miguel. She was the best cook! On Sunday she would cook and we had a feast! She lived to be 94 years old. I miss her.

Thanks for letting me know! I am not a tree specialist so I didn’t know! Now I learned something! 😊
Hi I’m doing a project for school on the azores can I use some of your video for my project you will be credited
I wish these videos would tell you what time of the year these are taken
I went the end of May, beginning of June… so right before these were posted…
May I ask what month you visited?
In 2015 I went in September and in 2023 in May. The weather is always unpredictable! You can have all seasons in one day!
