A Johnson's floor routine for Florida loved the usage of music from The 5th Element! Rogers for Georgia on the beam had a lot of cool elements in her routine
The meet will come down to the last landing on the last event, quoted by Bart and indeed it did. Florida is the most talented team in the country, but I don't think anyone can be surprised that Alabama bought their A-game and won it in their home state. I was rooting for a still considered underdog even thought they've been on fire all season, LSU, but they competed tight/tenative. UGA is lights out on bars, but just not as good as the other teams on floor, which hurts their chances.
If Briggy wouldn't have stepped out of bounds, FL would still have fallen short of AL. She would had to have a 9.95 to beat Bama. I don't think it came down to her landing. If everyone else would have done their job then Briggy wouldn't have been on the spot to deliver. It was a great landing! She was just out of bounds. Alabama was just "on" that night and they certainly deserved it. We will see who is on at NCAAs! Can't wait!
Not a fan of College Gymnastics, huh? If you watched it then youd understand it's part of what makes it so amazing & and a complete, necessary change from Elite.
Poor Bridget C...... she is a great gymnast but has choked over & over, in the clutch. I'll never understand the choice of putting her as anchor over Ketra or Bridget Sloan..... either of those ladies couldve easily pulled out the win for the Gators & Bridget C wouldve had a better routine without all the pressure. Oh well. Bad coaching, imo.....
it is pathetic that Alabama won on it's the strength of it's weakest event .....the uneven bar and ESPN only bothered to show 3 routines while the other teams(WHO LOST) got showcased. That is what happens folks when Alabama is ignored...THEY JUST WIN! Roll Tide.
And how many of them will be in 2016 Summer Olympics? Oh that's none. Want to talk about the best of the best 2012 US team. That's the best of the best. If you don't go International Elite and you're not winning against other ladies from around the world you are not the best at all.

Some of these girls did indeed go to the Olympics and if we advanced a year, Brenna Dowell defferred to go elite....
