Hi guys, I am currently in Puerto Vallarta and thinking of going to Mexico City next. What neighborhood or areas should I consider looking at? I have a 5 year old and a dog, id like for it to be walkable with plenty of good restaurants/things to do around. TIA
I"m not Vegan nor a huge cook. But funny how everything tana makes I either have wanted to try and make it for the 1st time or am thinking about it at one point. Just the last few days I have been thinking of making buffalo cauliflower as well! Does Tana work from home as well?
In your last video, you asked for suggestions: what about a video explaining where to get COVID tests in CDMX (location, bilingual service, cost, time for results, etc)? With snowbird season coming up, and a lot of countries requiring testing for travel, there might be a big demand. For example, we are going to Puerto Escondido in December for 4 weeks and finishing our trip with 6 days in Mexico City. To get back into Canada, we will need our vax passports (done) and also a COVID test 72 hours before we arrive home. That means we will have to get the test in CDMX. It has to be a PCR test - which usually takes 24 hours to get a result (rather than the fast antigen test). There is some info on Trip Advisor, but it is mostly about quick antigen tests at the airport. I thought this might interest you since it dovetails with your new biz idea. Thanks and all the best!
I got mine done at the airport, they are open like 20 hours a day. Also just ask your hotel. THere are also pharmacies you can get the test. I was in Mexico city as well.

I'm from south Texas raised in the valley...we grew up eating more flour tortillas. But when I moved to the Yucatan, it's rare to find fresh flour so I started making them at home. I like corn but flour are so good for breakfast tacos.
Of course we eat flour tortillas especially the people from Sonora, or Sinaloa Mexico…how do we make burritos? Is just some states eat more of the corn tortillas I guess… anyways excellent video!!!
Lovely day. My golden used to gulp food as well. My Chihuahua is the same and I have to use a slow feeder with her. I'm seeing more flour tortillas in my area than hardshell. I often just put a bit of peanut butter in one and roll it for a quick snack when I don't really want to cook. Looking forward to trying the artichoke recipe.

Yes, flour tortillas are mostly eaten in the north because the climate was more appropriate for wheat. The south has mostly corn tortillas.
