We have received literally hundreds of low-ball offers, scammers, and just stupid people making BS offers. Here's a nice sample of the idiots that have messaged us about trying to buy this Huracan.

I love it when people ask what you do for a living when the car your posting is from your dealership.

The “typical” Lamborghini buyer and Ferrari are wildly different. The income demographic may be similar but that’s where it ends.
The income demographic is not the same here in Europe.
Generally the Ferrari buyer tend to be a more "balanced" person. I've met a lot of immature Lamborghini owners that are in debt because of their cars. Are there Ferrari owners in this situation, yes, but they seem to be fewer and further between to say the least.

When someone offers a 100K, don't even respond to them. Quit texting with them. You cannot buy a Lambo by text! They need to pick up the phone and call you. Some of these people sound like they need to be spending their money on rehab.

Honestly sometimes it's difficult to tell if someone is actually a serious buyer. We've had some scammers play it off pretty good.

I’m sure it can be hard to tell at first, but I imagine it becomes clear pretty quickly. In my case, I walked into the dealership and told them I wanted to buy. They said ok, and took the $10k deposit for my order within 2 mins. I was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, and they probably thought I was a tire kicker, but I suppose they’re told to take everyone seriously, just in case!
I’m loving this channel more and more. I used to watch years ago when you had your first Ferrari but fell off for a bit and now I’m back and see you’ve really excelled! So glad to see the progress and am definitely not going anywhere this time around!

FYI, the guy asking if you were a person vs dealership may have asked because some states have reduced or even ZERO taxes (Thinking of Arizona) on cars bought from a private seller, whereas a dealer you will have to pay taxes.

Welcome to my world, however as a Porsche specialist, it’s usually the sub $60k cars that elicit stupidity. $100k+, for some reason, are usually (relatively) reasonable folks.

Hey serious question tho, how do you calculate what the non-refundable down should be, say, per $100K of car, and for how long? Eg, how much $ down to hold a X $100K car for Y weeks?

People never cease to amaze me. I’m a landlord and you wouldn’t believe how many people call me every wk asking me to hold a house that they’ve even yet to see. They just don’t seem to comprehend that if you hold a house/Car you are losing out on other potential buyers.
