I screamed at the "I know what you wore last summer" which segued into your sponsor. That was insanely slick, you are awesome. The skits are fire as always and your challenges are always creative. I loved how you beat Ronald by doing absolutely nothing and soloing Rod with Pkiachu. It was like the game wanted you to stay on theme, it was kind of magical.
The final boss of the game and I just ended my turn over and over 😅. But thank you for staying with the channel! It’s much appreciated.
Tbh you could've beaten Brock's counterpart by using the room's sprinklers to wet his cards and make him lose.

I tried a psychic only challenge, I got stuck on one of the junior trainers in the water gym with her jigglypuffs. Psychic pokémon are so overpowered in gen 1, but can be walled by almost any normal type in the tcg

Ah, refreshing to see another TCG challenge. It's pretty funny how some the cards are obtained, like the Umakuni(?) card. XD Anyway, another like, another comment and another vid on repeat while I try to beat this nuzlocke. Also, looking forward to the Pokemon Stadium 2 Paraspective! :)

Too many creators are cookie cutter these days and I respect your originality. So many people do challenge runs but the video formats are all the same. I've always disliked how for a show with a theme "gotta catch em all" their main protagonist has only like 8 Pokémon at a time and hardly evolves them

Squirtle and Bulbasaur didn’t want to end up like Charizard with some drastic change to their personality. Notice they stopped being friendly towards Zard after it evolved.
Think it's because the 'gotta catch em all' tagline came from American minds to absolutely milk the franchise and make bare dollar so kids spend all their money. And of course the anime is Japanese and this wasn't their plan or idea as such. Look it up. Pretty sure I'm right 🤔

Got a challenge idea for ya, Paraspectre! Works the first or second TCG: The Promotional Rewards Cards Challenge, where the only Pokèmon cards you can use are from Promotional and Reward Cards! This means getting reward/promo cards from the Coliseum, trades with Ishihara, Imakuni? (TCG1), or the other various cards you could get from other duelists (TCG2).
But yeah! Looking forward to it if it ever pulls through! Keep up the top tier intros and outros, my man! Cheers!
I have looked into the promo idea. Some of them are a little time consuming to get, which is why I haven’t done it yet. But it’s not a bad idea

I feel like the ice type one was the most fun, but it was easy. The poison one was difficult, but fun when it gets going. I liked the constant changes with the Ash one.

I wonder, would it be possible to make this game randomizer? Like, each trainer or opponent has a random deck and each card pack is random.
I’m sure those are out there but I haven’t looked into it. I like doing the challenges on exactly how the game is presented

You know...Why DID Ash never use his 30 Tauros in the anime? I mean, it's Gen 1 Tauros baby. That thing DESTROYED the competition.
Probably the same reason poor ol' Porygon never shows up in the anime again. The Safari Zone episode got banned for showing guns so the anime probably didn't want to use stuff from the banned episodes.
He did use one of them in the Orange Island arc, in the finals even

Everytime I made a wrong move in this game as a kid I did a reset. If you continue from duel or whatever it's like you never went.
I get it. It didn’t matter in the long run but when I accidentally used Stiffen in the one match, I was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING

@@Paraspectre the only thing I've tried for now it's a "randomised" that just randomize your initial deck (nothing special but may be interesting to so solo challenges with that deck alone, without making changes)
It would be lovely a hackroom with gym and neo cards era included, i hope in the future would be possible a rom like that

You should try nuzlocking the main games as ash but you get to use any pokemon you want for each gym
Maybe the real villains were the friends we made along the way.

I ve tried to play this game 2 times now and I gave up both times cuz its too random in building a cinsistent deck . Any idea what order to beat trainers to get some decent deck?

Focus on one or two types, water is pretty solid. The rock club is usually pretty easy to start, though.
@@InnocentGuillotine thx I ended up playing again, I found that I could get energy packs in the lab and that helped me a lot and eventually I beat the game, tried a few decks and had fun

Yeah, Murray is a pain in the ass. You basically have to play a meta deck to have a decent chance against him because he himself plays a meta deck, known as "Damage Swap/The Sponge".

tcg 2 is simply better in every shape and form.
same game but much more cards, more trainers, more events, more secrets and much more.

So against gene you're only allowed pikachu and pidgeotto (ofc pidgey being needed counts and if you have multiple of a pokemon I'll allow number used according to these rules 2 v 2 anime? Up to 3 of each 1 v 1 you can use as many as possible and three vs three 2 of each
