To argue this, after Regime change, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Election Commission, Bureaucracy, Pakistan Police, every inch of power used to get results against Imran Khan but his party swept 30 out of 37 by-elections. Army or any other power in Pakistan can not defeat IK hence he has been put behind bars in frivolous 200+ cases (you only need 1 genuine case in Pakistan to hang someone *BHUTO) not 200+ cases. IK's party (PTI) not allowed to contest elections, Supreme Court took away his party's electoral symbol, his party divided into 3 parties, people bought with money or with army's might (forced disappearances). His entire A Team is no more.... Today IK's under 11 team is trying to win elections with no IK, no big names, no institutional support and with no electoral symbol (Bat) in fact army is even kidnapping those who are becoming some hope out of his party's 3rd tier. But Karan Thapar will never pose such uncomfortable questions to fellow Pakistani journalists. Satyapal Malik is a mine of information for him but he forgot to ask him how the PM had to walk all the way up to a dhaba to call the governor of J and K to warn him about not talking about Phulwama. But he did try his best to corner Ajay Bisaria ( diplomat) on trivial matters just because he wrote about incidents in his book which showed Pakistan in a poor light. He is a family friend of that scoundrel Ashraf Qazi who justified Jihad against India for revoking article 370. And indeed sorry to say that he is the son of the army chief during the Chinese debacle in 1962 about whom Krishna Menon had used such harsh words like that toothless old woman who did not know how to fight a war. Moeed Pirzada - was earlier a very good establishment journalist and like other establishment pay roll journalists he also was made to go for speak in favor of Imran. He did wonderfully well in that role - he performed much better den any good PTI worker- on camera and over the mike. Later on when establishment got estranged relationship with Imran who was brought by establishment in govt. after massive poll rigging, like many others he remained with Imran on oversees pay roll arrangement of PTI and for that he left Pakistan. I have found him controverting himself according to his convenience many time. I am following him and few others since many years - when he was doing a program with Najam Sethi on Dunia news Network. Wajahat is another similar case - earlier till last year he was a journalist of establishment and was getting access of such places and people which any normal journo can't get. Now suddenly he has turned into a saint in favour of Imran in same manner like Moeed. I am an Indian and have keenly been following Pakistan developments since almost two decades. I have found Hamid Meer a vry independent journo. Najam Sethi is even better in terms of understanding the things with his Chiriya, but nowadays he is titled towards Nun League. But he is the most knowledgeable one- having fantastic analysis. Nusrat Jawed - an another very independent one. All of these were gagged during Imran's government.
For his kind knowledge, Imran khan was favourite by establishment but he was much popular in 2018. His 35 seats were managed and replaced by electables just to put pressure on him when needed otherwise he must won majority. He was not imposed.

IK was not imposed. he came with people's vote. his support today did not emerge all of sudden or after his removal from office. it has been there since he was elected to office. establishment had no other option. in fact establishment tried their best and succeeded in not letting IK take a simple majority. it is intellectual dishonesty when people like hamid mir say that IK was imposed. Hamid Meer has given twisted answers, he proves himself wrong by saying that Pakistan Establishment has never succeeded in bringing someone to power, as he gave examples from 70s onwards, but in 2018 it was otherwise.
Infact, Army reduced PTI's clear majority (Imran Khans Party) and gave him weak govt.
To argue this, after Regime change, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Election Commission, Bureaucracy, Pakistan Police, every inch of power used to get results against Imran Khan but his party swept 30 out of 37 by-elections.
Army or any other power in Pakistan can not defeat IK hence he has been put behind bars in frivolous 200+ cases (you only need 1 genuine case in Pakistan to hang someone *BHUTO) not 200+ cases.
IK's party (PTI) not allowed to contest elections, Supreme Court took away his party's electoral symbol, his party divided into 3 parties, people bought with money or with army's might (forced disappearances). His entire A Team is no more....
Today IK's under 11 team is trying to win elections with no IK, no big names, no institutional support and with no electoral symbol (Bat) in fact army is even kidnapping those who are becoming some hope out of his party's 3rd tier.
Army has lost big time and IK has won people's hearts and minds.

This Hamid Mir only a couple of days back had said on Pak tv channels that Pakistan should maintain cordial relations with Iran and Afghanistan because they are our Islamic brothers whereas our nuclear missiles should be directed towards India for what they have done in Kashmir. But Karan Thapar will never pose such uncomfortable questions to fellow Pakistani journalists. Satyapal Malik is a mine of information for him but he forgot to ask him how the PM had to walk all the way up to a dhaba to call the governor of J and K to warn him about not talking about Phulwama. But he did try his best to corner Ajay Bisaria ( diplomat) on trivial matters just because he wrote about incidents in his book which showed Pakistan in a poor light. He is a family friend of that scoundrel Ashraf Qazi who justified Jihad against India for revoking article 370. And indeed sorry to say that he is the son of the army chief during the Chinese debacle in 1962 about whom Krishna Menon had used such harsh words like that toothless old woman who did not know how to fight a war. I really feel sorry for talking like this about Gen Thapar because after all he was an army man and we all have nothing but respect for our soldiers. Moeed Pirzada - was earlier a very good establishment journalist and like other establishment pay roll journalists he also was made to go for speak in favor of Imran. He did wonderfully well in that role - he performed much better den any good PTI worker- on camera and over the mike. Later on when establishment got estranged relationship with Imran who was brought by establishment in govt. after massive poll rigging, like many others he remained with Imran on oversees pay roll arrangement of PTI and for that he left Pakistan. I have found him controverting himself according to his convenience many time. I am following him and few others since many years - when he was doing a program with Najam Sethi on Dunia news Network. Wajahat is another similar case - earlier till last year he was a journalist of establishment and was getting access of such places and people which any normal journo can't get. Now suddenly he has turned into a saint in favour of Imran in same manner like Moeed. I am an Indian and have keenly been following Pakistan developments since almost two decades. I have found Hamid Meer a vry independent journo. Najam Sethi is even better in terms of understanding the things with his Chiriya, but nowadays he is titled towards Nun League. But he is the most knowledgeable one- having fantastic analysis. Nusrat Jawed - an another very independent one. All of these were gagged during Imran's government.
For his kind knowledge, Imran khan was favourite by establishment but he was much popular in 2018. His 35 seats were managed and replaced by electables just to put pressure on him when needed otherwise he must won majority. He was not imposed.
