From my studies of music theory, the thing that stuck out to me the most is that individual notes by themselves do not mean anything without context. The "feeling" of music actually comes from the space between the notes - the intervals, how many semitones apart they are. This really becomes apparent when you look at the difference between a C Major triad and a C Minor like you demonstrate in this video. That "Feeling" doesn't come from the notes being played, it comes from the space between them. Music is the language of the universe.
you have some of the best non-generic tutorials out there for EDM that I have come across. Not only is your content unique and revelatory, it's applicable and immediately useful! I've learned a lot from you so far, really appreciate you bro!
Professor Ahee at it again! TY 4 this, a lot of take aways. I’ve always felt the passing tone but never heard it called that. Also I liked how you said “psychological center”, that rly clicked for me
Love this again watched it three times now. Also I would love a tutorial on how to make the beautiful synths and plucks that are in the intros and breakdown and inbetween drops to bass songs. Just an idea 😊😊😊
Huge fan man and I have nothing but resect for you and the journey you've been through, I absolutely love these type of music videos keep up the amazing progress. Much Love
You just answered so many questions I've had about little things the last 2 years of trying to teach myself piano in one video! THANK YOU MAN! I need to vedge out on some of your other videos on here. Cheers!
18:20 I don't know if you know this but this could actually be described as a 1st inversion 7th chord. From this bass note up you have a 1-3-5-6 . I make a printable chart of the 7th chords and also triads, I have them tacked on my wall and always look when I have an odd chord combination because it is hard to remember all of the interval combos.
You are the best Chris. Youve litteraly taught me most that I know. I even got to play stilldream this year. Thank you so much. This tutorial is B O S S!!!! ❤❤❤🐿🐿🐿🛸🛸 -SQWURL
It's sad people no longer want to work towards greatness they just want it handed to them. This is the only reason why they learn music theory last. It's unavoidable at some point.

The feeling comes from the sound design.
