@@jamesgorman5241 Just a "Dibbler" not a "C.M.O.T. Dibbler". C.M.O.T. is a specific instance of a Dibbler. True, they don't always have the exact same last name either, but Morporkian being the lingua quirma it is acceptable to use that variant of the name when referring to them as a group. You might also argue that "Dibbler" is the correct term as that was the one used by the phenomenon's discoverer Rincewind (the egregious professor of cruel and unusual geography of Unseen University). It is also the most common among the reported cases of Dibblers, being shared by the Fourecks instance F.G. Dibbler.

What are the oxventure guild's catchphrases? My guess:

And of course
"We do not recognize your surrender"
Really makes you question the efficiency of a synthetic workforce when the human is doing an extra shift at the station while one replicant "practices noodles" and the other, presumably, accidentally discharges a handgun into his bathroom mirror.
Their salary probably makes up for it and they're unlikely to take time off and quitting even less so

@@barneymiller7894 But also from their human maker's point of view, they don't really have a choice, they aren't given one or expected to want one, they're assigned a job and should do it until told otherwise, only given what they need to somewhat live like a human. They're a low maintenance work force
Mike DMing? Yess, very exciting. I love seeing all the different styles. Jane VTM next?
It's worth remembering that both Andy and Mike think the only reasonable choice for a vampire is a super sexy one that flirts their way out of all situations, so if it's GM'd by Jane we'll be getting a bunch of episodes that are just all the Outside Xbox co-producers flirting with each other for 45-90 minutes.
I'm not against that, just pointing out that it's the most likely scenario.

Purvis is character perfection. Please bring him back, in this or any other iteration. Really enjoyed this, and great to see Mike DMing for the first time, as well as bringing Aoife in on it!

i know this was a one-shot wonder but i'd reeeeeaaally like to see a continuation of this story. I love the washed-up, hard-boiled detective margot divorced from her digital ex-husband, i love the corpse fangirl john woo protagonist static, i love the dorky little lab tech with unrealistic aspirations purvis, and i love the way mike brought this world to life in his own comfortable, casual yet very convincing way. excellent job all round! don't leave town.
The corpse fanatic just from the sound of it reminds me of an anime called "The Empire of Corpses" maybe this is just a person really into Morgues and Autopsies, and the study of the medical science of Death rather than a fascination of the Undead.
I totally agree with you. They make the game more interesting. And, we get to see Mike do more DM'ing.
I love how different all of Andy's characters are.
I'm pretty sure this character was just Andy roleplaying the guy Deckard pretends to be at the night club to talk to the dancer in the movie lol

Andy always comes up with such awesome characters, and Aoife's replicant voice has awoken something in me.
I loved this so much. Everyone ragging on Andy's accent has never met a guidance counselor from one of the Dakotas. Mike did such agreat job, I actually feel inspired to run a game myself.
You mean the State(s)? Careful with that someone might have that name, like a John Doe.
I was midway through before I realized this was Mike's first take DMing. Which is to say he did a great job.
Oh heck yes! Cyberpunk aesthetics? Vapourwave colours? Jane, Aoife, and Andy getting up to shenanigans in a world run by Mike and populated by Mikes? Glorious chaos!

Andy being so excited for the time he runs Weird West, he already has his country accent out. Also, wow, Mike GMing, I love seeing the new sides of each player by seeing them GM.

i think Mike did a wonderful job as DM and well done to all the players in this adventure, i don't think i could of stayed in character as well as everyone did here.
Andy and Aoife's characters are extremely funny here. I kept expecting the bit to get old, but it really doesn't.
Andy really decided "I'm going to roleplay as a member of the Confidential Committee of Moral Abuses" for the entire stream.

Mike, you did an amazing job (blade)running the game! Everybody else was great too, of course. Best moment for me though was Purvis asking Bullet Bob if he had permits and Mike's subsequent response as Bob. Classic lol
Andy's performance here is probably my favorite thing in all of Oxventure. That voice is amazing. I love it! More Purvis!!

A few games I would like to see them do a one of is world of darkness (vampire the masquerade), mainly to hopefully see Andy play it since he has been historically against the games lol, call of chuthulu, star wars, fire fly, or traveler

I know I'm late to the party, but I wanted to chime in that I too would *love* for this game (and these characters) to return in future videos. This was by far the best one shot on this channel to date!

The absolute buffoonery of everyone bumbling around the grim dark dystopian Blade Runner setting was absolutely delightful!
Going to need Purvis to stop practicing his draw, just tripped over his blaster for the third time this week.
This was amazing. Mike is a great DM and the investigation team synergize in a wonderfully humorous manner.
I love how the Nexus 9 are built specifically to be the best Bladerunners, built as flawless machines that have years of experience without needing to do anything. Yet Purvis somehow manages to be the most incompetent it's possible to be. It doesn't seem like anyone has to worry about 9s replacing humans as Bladerunners any time soon.
I know Deadlands is the next b-plot on this channel, but I would love a full series of this game

There were some great moments and a really enjoyable playthrough! For some reason, the bit which stood out for me was the examination of the corpse with the whole in their chest and Static comments how it would make good storage space - I enjoyed that too much!

Difference between cutscene and gameplay: Cutscene blaster shot blows a hole clean through someone's chest and buries itself in the wall. Gameplay blaster shot is equivalent to getting a clonk on the head with a pipe.
That was a pretty good one shot, and everyone did such a good job.

Well done, Mike! Excellent instincts, and the ease and flow (already good for a relatively new GM) will continue improving with practice. GMing on stream is an entirely different challenge to just running a game offline, and handled here with aplomb.
The rest were excellent too. Andy's knack for playing dorks is always entertaining, Aoife playing up the eerier aspects of her character was reminiscent of her stints as the killer in Mungus & Seek, and Jane remains as always excellent at taking a back seat to let guest players shine.
the background sounds and music makes it so much better and immersive. I love it 🥰

Mike did a wonderful job, genuinely didn't feel like his first time and the players were all great, Aoife and Andy were clearly having a blast and Jane didn't seem to mind playing the straight to their more wacky since she was also being a noir protagonist. I felt the time pushing in on y'all near the end there though, which is a slight shame, I think that you should fix it by looking into a series someday 😉

Just purchased the game recently. Don't know if it's only for my region but if you're thinking of getting the game, they've got a 50% off offer the last time I purchased so I say if you're looking to buy, now would be the time.

This was super fun, and I'm disappointed that it's only a one-shot. Jane's character being passed out drunk through the entire near-fatal combat was hilarious. I'm starting to think Margot's brilliant reputation is built off a succession of stealing solved cases from her partners. Andy's new catchphrase is "Oh, beans..." and I love it. Also, the idea that Aoife cannot lie, in the style of a very traditional AI, but turns out she can perceive moral quandaries, was a great concept.
I haven't seen Blade Runner (yes, I know), so wasn't sure about some of the terminology... would have been good to have had just a quick run-down of some things at the start. From context I gather replicants are a sentient android... a few other things I couldn't work out.
