Love your video's, keep them coming! In this playthrough i think your forgetting to exploit your astroids to the fullest their yield really att's up in your manufactoring, research and wealth after some time.
If I have em in the early game I put a fairly high priority on it. Mid to late I pretty much don't bother as whatever engine I've got going is usually ticking over nicely by then.
Hi bro, its a great series and am excited to see how its gonna end. But i would like to add one thing, how to calculate the research, because you said the contribution of the scientists is 41.5. At 20:34 there is a detailed breakdown of the research of the planet. If you add all the non-percentage numbers together, which is 61.5, and then all the percentage amounts together, its 436%. So if you calculate, how much is 436% of 61.5 (basically 61.5 X 5.36), you will get exactly 329.64. It means the contribution of the scientists at this particular case is not only 41.5, as you mentioned, its basically 41.5 X 5.36, so they give actually more than 2/3 of your total research on this planet (with the help of the percentage bonuses of course). But if i misunderstood you (i am not native english lol), i am sorry for that. Now am gonna continue the video :D
You could hear the slight confusion/disappointment in my voice because honestly I was expecting it to be way more. This explanation makes more sense. Thanks for the input!
Definitely need to get those starbases ready for war
thnx alot. sadly not many people make vids about this game:(
Remember Vega's Spire carrier? Hopefully your carriers will be just that effective...
max ship distance is calculated from either your planet or starbase, whichever is closer to the direction you are heading in...
Thanks for the confirmation!

@@100stratman you are welcome, I also learn a lot while watching your videos, yet I can barely keep up with the other factions on normal difficulty :)
