Good stuff. I believe that raised section on the burner chassis is a flame/heat guard to protect the chef meaning it should be in front. Also the flame control valve would be clocked right under that section in the front also for quick safe access. But maybe this works better for you.

That wok burner has a flame guard, if you have it facing towards you, it will help prevent burns
