Hey Dave, im 57 years old, ive been doing this since i was 21, i am now 57, i know i probably have around 10 years left before i am a problem to other drivers. i have been watching your videos for a few months now, i think you have what it takes. to me you dont seem like one of those drivers that think they are in a 4 wheeler .You seem to me to be the type of driver that know that the load has to be delivered safely, and that know that your in control of something that can kill others. i watch and i observe how you judge each and every situation. we have all been where you are in your career. From what ive seen so far and the amount of time you have been driving, i would refer to you as driver. dont stop learning, there are always obstacles. drive safe brother...

Hey Dave. I've enjoyed watching some of your content. You have reminded me of some events earlier on in my Career. Don't let Anything and/or Anyone steal your Joy. I know this can be Easier said than Done; nonetheless, it can be accomplished. Your Never going to be able to please everyone. I'm currently dealing with a load that has been rescheduled until the 5th and was supposed to Drop the 2nd. I was early to my Apt; however, the receiver closed due to severe weather conditions. I wasn't the happiest in the beginning; however, I realized I needed to make the Best of this time. I'll be getting Layover etc. It will still end up being a lower paying week and that happens in Trucking. Heck in Life(.) I try to start my Day off with being Thankful and Grateful for what I do have. Waking up is Half the Battle IMHO.. Be Safe out there and Wish ya the Best in your Endeavors! ~Stretch 😎

I missed and exit and made a wrong turn in Chicago, once, and came across a low clearance. Luckily, I had room to pull to the side, and I made a phone call and waited for about half an hour for police to show up and hold up traffic so I could pull into a side street then back up enough to turn around and head the other direction. Good times...

We have a low bridge where I live. It has signs warning you of the height, it has height sensors that trickers some flashing lights if you're to high, and it has some reflective plates hanging down in chains some 30 feet before the bridge, so if you're gonna hit the bridge, you're gonna hit the plates first and be warned before you slams into the bridge. And still the bridge gets hit once and a while.
