- Here is a ride and review of my 2016 aprilia tuono factory with a host of mods along with alot hard riding. Also another thank you to a great friend that got me started in this great UA-cam community Mr. 650 ib. Hope you enjoy the energy!

+Kischardio 17 is going to have TFT display, auto blip, cruise, and heated grips.. bike is difficult to balance a wheelie.

But with the AR slip on ... Wow..
I have mine with the cables removed and a module to cancel out the servo si I dont get a check engine, how's the sound in higher rpm with this setup ? I know it sounds phenomenal in low revs...

Damn close.. it's 170hp. It goes toe to toe with my 1299s till about 160 mph.
I keep thinking about putting a few videos up like this but the potential for a serious nick here in England is high so for now I keep my uploads track, nurburgring or Isle is Man TT
Was great hearing your bike though. We run an almost identical setup. Your can is made 30 minutes up the road from me (AR)

What is your TC,and AWC settings in this video. Sounds as if you have modified the primary and secondary gearing.
Stock gearing on the spike wheelie control is set at two traction control set at 2 also you will see on some of the hits it is actually working in the lights are flashing on the dash

Hey 5UP, Steve right? Help a guy out will ya? I got a new Hayabusa a year ago and now got the itch for trading to a Tuono. What's your opinion? Step up step down? Would I be happy with that? And if so Factory or RR? (kinda like the RR seating but also the Olins) Thanks to you and to any others commenting.
Well handling and acceleration to about a hundred and forty would be improved a lot of other things meaning top speed and even when protection and comfort would be a downgrade but you cannot beat the sound the agility and having a different bike then probably anybody else on your block I love the Aprilia

I have the Gabro Race ECU. It's just so different from stock now. Engine braking? Gone. Throttle is DIRECT (needed caps) in R, soft in S [like stock] and twitchy almost in T. ...and it just feels more hyper. Which is kind of interesting considering this bike was no slouch in stock form. The 'send-me-over-the-bars' engine braking, especially in S and low speed
I'm waiting for my 2017 Tuono RR to get the Master Cylinder recall done and ten I can take delivery. The intensity that this bike has looks awesome. I don't know about the neighbors though with that exhaust, dang. Sounds very MotoGP though.

Best naked on the market 👍, your roads are to straight tho in the states, it's all about the bends.
Adam i dont belive that anybody is enable or can do any more like this Tuono with all restrictions abd Norms is no more so easy to produce duch a imotional bkike like the Tuono.Not eave Aprilia can doi't anymore.Thats the reason to buy a Factory Tuono now because somthing better dosent exiest eaven in the future😎

ended up buying the 2020 version of this bike because of this video. Best decision I ever made.
Nice vid 5up, question. I have the same bike, and was looking to put a SC Project slip-on. Did you put the race ECU on yet? if no. How does it run? Also, do you notice a difference with the 520 conversion and countershaft sprocket
+Mark Scott no tuning yet I've heard the bikes with the sc-project and they're even louder than the Austin racing. And the 520 gear ratios change definitely made the gears longer and it feels that the bike has plenty of torque to pull the taller gear. It might run out of steam though at top RPMs in 6th Gear I don't know yet

Steve, just bought the 2017 Tuono V4. The Rizoma mirrors, are they the Rizoma Spy or Spy-R? How do you like them for functionality? The only thing I don't like is the stock mirrors. They're functional but just detract from the look. Many thanks! Do you need any adapters?

Been hearing a lot of great things about the Tuono lately. I'm 6'5 and 180lbs do you think that it would suit me pretty nicely? Seems like a really sweet and awesome bike and would like to maybe own it one day.
It's a tall bike but SDR fitts the big guys even better.
At least the front tyre will last you a while!

+claudio cabrera 10 track days is quite a bit I would probably lean towards the tuono factory. Depends on your dealer service network and how comfortable you are on the bike the Super Duke is also excellent but if you throw a super bike in there with full fairings and you're on the highway more that's what you will enjoy more
with some editing and safer roads you are better than maxwrist.

They're both still great bikes. I think the SuperDuke updates were the more significant out of the two.
It's interesting how different both bikes are although they're in the same category. The Tuono gets my pick for track riding and the SDR for the road, you can't go wrong with either though. The good news is you can trade up and the mrs won't tell the difference ;)

Steve I need help! I have a decision to make asap. 2017 superduke R or 2017 tuono Factory? Which bike do you enjoy more? I currently own two MV Agusta Superbikes but looking for something with more comfort to add to my stable. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
+Gregory Aguirre I love both of those bikes definitely the most comfortable is the Super Duke but on the highway it has zero when protection and is pretty rough. But the Aprilia horsepower power delivery V4 and especially the updates I believe I'd be all over that bike especially at a cheaper price in the Super Duke.
