- Is it possible to learn a language in one month? How proficient or fluent can you get after less than a year of studying? Well, this is how I learned French in 30 Days!
Even though I still have a long way to go until I'm fluent in French, I honestly couldn't have done this language-learning challenge without the help of the people around me, and so I want to give the BIGGEST thank you to:
1. My friend Chiara for helping me out - check her and her music out! / chiarapetn
2. My tutor/bro Lambert - here's his page if you want to work with him too: www.italki.com/en/teacher/652...
3. And my other awesome tutors Alan and Olivier!
A LITTLE NOTE:
Hi there! Please keep in mind this is my first time seriously learning another language. I’m not as experienced as other creators in this niche and thus wanted to make a video that documents the emotional journey of my learning as opposed to recommending specific methods. If you’re looking for specific methods, there are a ton of fantastic channels and resources out there that can help you out! :)

Any suggestions for what language I should try learning next? 🤔
JAPANESE
I think if you can nail the pronunciation of Spanish it’s so similar to French with it being a Latin language it will be easier. Also imo it’s the most useful language when traveling besides English!
Chinese or Uzbek. I can teach you🤭
Haitian Creole lol. It’s a French dialect so it’ll be very easy to learn imo
That video was so inspiring really! What about Greek next? (As a Greek tutor, I couldn't suggest anything else 😅)
IN 30 DAYS YALL!! INSANE!! that’s no easy task, but you did it! your passion for learning is contagious and is inspiring me to do the same. a masterpiece as always, SO PROUD OF YOU
Please stop the insanity. I'm a full-time professional Japanese-to-English translator. I've been translating documentation for the largest Japanese multinationals and government institutions for decades now but haven't even scratched the surface. Newbies suffer from Dunning-Kruger.
@@yishihara55527 bro ur drunk as fuck
@@yishihara55527 Cool, i would love to see you learn dutch in thirty days. Support and praising ≠ Dunning-Kruger effect.
@@yishihara55527 I have to add that being a newbie at new task doesn't mean being roockie at learning things. But yeah, you're still right to warn about this bias, always good to keep it in mind and stay focus on the path.
@@Anto-kb5ck I think what he means is that's its much much easier to get to intermediate level quickly but it takes years to be an expert, although reaching that level in 30 days is an amazing feat.
I’m in shock this video isn’t more popular.. this is very inspiring
Exactly, his charisma, his determination, the way he edits his videos, the camera quality. List goes on
I laughed during french "R" 😂😂😂
Most importantly this is so inspiring because I'll be traveling to a french country in 3 months
But the thing is you will forget when fast when you learn it like this after some days and weeks you start forgetting the language
As a french guy, i can confirm that swearing is really important.
This is a really good video man. I enjoy every bit of it.
And you inspire me to go back and study French!
Merci bcp!
the most beautiful reward after such an high effort is simply to be able to understand and to talk with people on your target language. Seriously bravo 👏 as a French native I can’t congratulate you more . It’s a really nice video 🎉 and to see how ecstatic you and your girlfriend were, It was just so warming. keep it up
Man I can understand
French is one of the most popular languages to learn
@@kamisato882 i said its real
I don't think it's necessary for me to learn french haha!
I've been really trying hard to teach myself french for the past 1½ years and I still can't come up with a clear conversation like you, good job 🎉
Ameer I’m so proud of you being able to speak French that fluently is amazing. You’re only going to get better now great job ☺️✨
thank youuu :)
@@AmeerCorroi can help you if you want, im a quebecois, so im canadian like you who is fluent in English and French
@@robertmoreau8663 that's not real french bro, i'm sorry
ive been self learning french for 11 months and the progress you made is beyond what i could dream of! you should be really proud of yourself
Bonne chance !
This video single-handedly reignited my passion to learn French again after leaving it. His pronunciation is incredible the work has clearly payed off!!
Your journey to learning French is quite inspiring for me. I learned English in my country for 15years, too. But recently I realized that self directed study can make more motivated path to intermediate level of language. So happy to watch your improvement and it is giving me more courage to be on my journey to English :D Thank you for sharing.
At the end i really wanted him to say: ✨️CROISSANT!✨️
Wow !
Bravo, tu as gagné un abonné !
This was a hit of motivation that I sooo needed right now, thank you
Fake title. You did not learn French in 30 days. You learnt it in school for 15 years. You have had prior exposure and lessons on the French language. The 30 days were just a cramming session for revising what you have been taught in school already.
Wow, tgank you for pointing this out. Saved me so much time. Now i wont watch this video
@@Idonthaveone-ug6wjwatch it. It’s very helpful
Everyone needs an Annie in their life. She was so sweet, encouraging and reassuring.
this is insane!!! And I agree with you, I spent 15 years studying French with great grades….but I don’t remember much lol. Congrats Ameer! Also great job editing and challenging yourself 🫶 Keep it up!
thank you Analyn!!
I love the idea of 30-day challenge. It forces you to stick with the goal in a good way and it’s also nice to see how you managed to create your own support system when you had self doubt and then quickly bounced back with more determination. I was at C1 level, but have stopped speaking the language for a while, so this video inspires me to do the same way to improve my french all the way to C2 level, fingers crossed. Thank you for sharing this valuable content and félicitations pour atteindre le niveau B1.
Your fresh is really perfect.
really loved the story arc of this one, really felt the distress, then inspiration, then the triumph. comedy was gorgeous too (lé parkour got me, was dying for like a minute), one of your best yet.
tysm my bro :)
Honestly congratulations, your level is exceptional for only one month of learning! Keep it up!!!
as a french who want to live in canada u have inspired me to learn more language seriously thank you !
I’m French and this challenge is impressive! Congratulations on archiving your goals! I’m also trying to learn a new language, Italian, and it’s a little bit easier because I already know the core rules of Latin because of French and I’ve done a little bit of Spanish before
Which is harder, learning English or Spanish
@@Mercedezbend Spanish is harder
mad respect it sounds really good.
🎉❤ Your French is so good! You really completed this challenge, it's impressive how fast you learned the language so you can be proud!
Bon boulot. T'es super! Je suis trop fier de toi!
We are going to France in 3 months, and I want the same thing you worked so hard for...the ability to communicate and to better understand the people who are there. You've a good look and personality for video. I think it's your intelligence and likability that is what makes people like this video. You let people into the struggle. It would be nice to have a summary of what you found worked best for you, so that others might be better able to copy your success. As to what you should do next? Solve problems that people have, and solve them in a way that shows your struggle. People will identify both with your "travail" and with your "succés". Merci.
Truly inspiring! I just learned that challenging yourself and committing to it is the key. Thanks for this video.
This is the thing about the French people that I met during my exchange program in Lille when I was 16. I realized that even though they appreciate me trying to speak in French, understanding that it was hard to learn another language surtout le francais, they never speak slower istg :') Mais bravo! It's so cool that you did that only in 30 days!
Hi Ameer, congratulations for your great evolution, I'm very impressed. I'm french and I know how french can be difficult to learn, so you did a very good job ! 😊
I really admire you for doing this! I have been learning French on and off for maybe just over 10 years and I’m still on an A2 level! I’m only a casual learner though, and the only speech I get to practice with somebody is my tutor once a week, so I can understand a lot of French but speaking it and making full sentences is a struggle 😅
Hi I'm french and i'm really impressed by your dedication, you are doing amazing, bravo.
HAHA so relatable - the french teacher only allowing you to go to the toilet if you can ask in french
the one thing we’ll never forget LOL
That was english for me
Me googlint it on my phone then saying it just to get out of French
Ton vocabulaire est mieux qu'au moins 70 pOUrcent des français et crois moi qu'en seulement 30 jours, tu as gérer bonne continuation. good continuation dude !
It's so fun to watch this video as a French person, switching between both languages makes the video very dynamic
That effort, work, editing that you put on this video, it wasn't a 20K sub level, it was waaay higher!
This was very inspiring and incredibly edited! Well done
Bravo !
I'm studying English for like three months and watching this video i noticed a really true happiness... when u start to have a conversation with the driver, was fantastic your hapinnes while speaking and how the driver notice that as well. Congratulations bro
YOU DID GREAT! And in only 30 days...TERRIFIC!! I have dabbled in trying to learn French for years but was NEVER consistent. I'm going to try it (yet) again. Thanks for the inspo!!
so proud of you!!! your video is so fascinating. i'm a Vietnamese and i'm studying both English and French. this has inspired me a lot. very well done, thank you so muchhh!!! keep it up!
I have been learning german for 7 years at school, and now can't even remember the most basic phrases. This video inspired me to start learning the language again and make all those years worth it.
Truly happy for you and your progress. Best Content Creator On The Platform. PERIOD!
AMAL! Thank you! That means so so much to me :)
Du packst das!
Bravo !!!! Ta progression est impressionnante !!!! Tu es génial !
Keep going !
C'est incroyable ! Quel beau parcours !
Hey brother, I'm just about to start my journey for learning French and your video honestly provides so much hope! Thanks so much for creating it! Plus, this is your first video that I saw, and your editing and cinematography skills are exceptional! Thanks for creating such amazing content! 🔥👍
Je n'arrive pas à y croire. Ton niveau est incroyable.
Keep it up!
That was so cool! What a challenge, actually two challenges: making this video (so very well) and learning to speak French (awesome)! You get an A+ on both of these projects. Do think the way French is usually taught needs to change. I'd like to see the language taught using only sounds that sound close to English (do the same for speakers of other languages). This would help the student to gain confidence. And then, the lessons would gradually introduce sounds that are uniquely French, from the easiest sounds to the most difficult. Never mind forming sentences to navigate ones way around France. This will come later once the issues of French pronunciation have been laid to rest.
I really liked this video and enjoyed watching it. I also recently started learning French. You encouraged me to continue to master the language, and I hope this year I will be able to master it and complete my learning.🤝❤️
What a fantastic video, from the content, to the editing, to your honesty and authenticity. Thank you for publishing it. You hit the nail on the head, brother, when you said that you never knew how enlightening and fun learning a new language can be. I, too, am learning French this year and I can totally relate. Keep up the great work! 💯💯🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thank you so much!
OMG!!!!! this is mind blowing, its so inspiring, this will definitely give me the push i needed. than u so much 🙏
Bro you’re so good i’m french canadian and I know it’s not an easy task to learn french when it’s not your first language!
Good job bro!
This is so motivational and helpful. Thank you for making this video.
Amazing! Congrats! You worked very hard, who knew it was possible to learn french in just 30 days! :D
Love from Switzerland
this is such an inspiring video and i'm shocked to see so much improvement just for 30 days, you encouraged me a lot for learning french, thanks :)
It's so inspiring! Thank you for this video!
hello from Japan!
I was so impressed because you literally overcome beginner level only in 30 days. That's so incredible.
I wanna become patient more like you seriously.
I also gonna start learning French myself and i now pump up.
My suggestion would be that you should learn Japanese in 30 days!!!
I'm looking forward to watching next video
Wow , apprendre aussi rapidement est impressionnant
Bravo !
AH-MAZING JOB!!! that taxi convo was great! I am using this video as a sign that I am on the right track to being able to have a full convo in French!!!
Félicitations pour votre persévérance 😀
Wow, so amazing. I'm french and I promess, it's amazing, you can really have a conversation with a french. Nice challenge and what a practice!!!
you are inspirational. I am half French and I have never had a conversation with any of them ever in my life. My mom translates our short messages back and forth over the phone. But I really missed the opportunity to reconnect with my grandmother before she passed. We left Europe to America when I was five. That is when we stopped speaking French. I have taken years of French all the way to university and I still don't speak French. I feel so ashamed. But I'm returning to France this next Christmas. My brother, parents, and I will all be returning to France for the first time since we left. I have 10 months and a crap load of anxiety. I really want to walk into my Godparents home greeting them with my loving expression from my own words. I want to convey myself and I feel so inspired that I can make this happen. Thank you for taking on this challenge. I wouldn't have known the possibility, and I am so grateful that I clicked on your video when I spotted it!
congratulations !!
Hats off to you, Ameer. That's really impressive what you've accomplished in 30 days!
Amazing ! I'm actually impressed because French is such a hard lanugage. Keep going you did well :)
Cette vidéo m’a vraiment donné envie d’enfin approfondir mon anglais, merci beaucoup 🤍
Trying to learn French in 2 months and I’m feeling REAL INSPIRED 😳 thank you!!

This really inspired me at exactly the right time! Merci
Actually you ve reached such an incredible level in those 30 days, the conversation you were able to have with the taxi driver was amazing. Congratulations, I wish i could learn English this fast !

oh mon dieu ton français est incroyable 😭 même l'accent est léger! bravo et merci à toi d'apprendre notre langue
This is just so cute and inspiring ❤ I also want to learn French and I know it's gonna be hard but your video inspired me more to push through with the plan. Plus I light up whenever you mention pain au chocolat and more so when you finally got that in Paris because it's so obvious that it's your favorite, and also I loooove pain au chocolat! ❤ And croissant. I definitely also wanna experience that in Paris. Thanks so much for this inspiration. I'm glad I stumbled upon your video. And congrats for learning French in 30 days 🎉 that's unmatched!
I live in Belgium and we also have to learn French in school ive been learning for 5 years for 4 hours a week i feel like even though i can talk simple conversations the school system of learnig a language are not good so im happy to see someone proves the system wrong ❤
You've inspired me a lot right now, I have a great level of English but i know i can do better. And I'm starting learning french so watching this video really makes me feel motivated. I know i can do it
tu as réussi a apprendre le Français très vite bravo!!! And I am learning english and your videos are so because I can understand everything you say, the way you speak is slow and perfectly undertandable for me.
Quality content right here. Loved it!
I loved everything about this video and gave me inspiration in my language journey 🎉
Bravo à toi ! Congratulations !
great job bro. you have a pleasant and funny personality too. thanks for the content.
OMG ! Bro.. this video is so inspiring, Merci Beaucoup !
Bonjour Ameer! Just stumbled upon your video and I must make a comment. I studied 2 years of French in community college and just completely forgot about it after working full time. I've always loved France since I was a child, and dreamed of someday going there someday. My dream came true as I went to Paris last October for a week, then I went to London afterwards. It was very short, but I'd say I enjoyed it a lot. From the moment I got off the airplane, to taking Le Metro, to speaking to cashiers and security, knowing a bit of French goes along way. I got lost at one point and had to speak broken French. It was a bit embarrassing, I'm probably A1 as well, but when they saw the effort, they really tried to help me out. The french is notoriously aloof and snobbish if you don't speak to them in French. I could just imagine the people I speak to here in the US who doesn't speak a lot of English and the struggle they must have. Learning a language is a journey, and it takes a lifetime to perfect it. Thank you for making this video! I might go back to France next year and see other parts of the country. Take care!
