I’m French and this challenge is impressive! Congratulations on archiving your goals! I’m also trying to learn a new language, Italian, and it’s a little bit easier because I already know the core rules of Latin because of French and I’ve done a little bit of Spanish before
Alright, achieving A2 doesn't necessitate spending 'years and years'; it's a relatively easy level requiring fewer than 100 basic sentences. Given your 15 years of French, you likely had latent knowledge that kicked in. Opting for Pimsleur before your trip would have been more beneficial. Attaining B1 in under 30 days is feasible, but that's when the real challenge begins. Moving from B2 to C2 could indeed take years. (on a scale from 0 to 10 where 10 is a full knowledge of language, finishing B1 is like 1.5 and A1 is 0.75, just to put this in perspective. With B2 you jump somewhere to 4-6, then C1 gets you to 7.5, C2 maybe to 8.5-9 and you will still have areas not covered in school like slang etc, so as you see it gets much, much harder as you go along, but also more rewarding and more addictive). I'm generally skeptical of those 'learn the language in 2 hours' claims, but your approach was refreshing and honest about your progress. Granted, you could have chosen a more effective system, but the abundance of claims about the 'best' system makes it tricky to discern genuine reviews. I hope your language learning journey continues, and that you've pace yourself. I've been at it for 22 months, reaching C1, which some consider fast, but it required significant effort, much like your experience. While I'm fluent, I'm still learning. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this accelerated pace to you or to anyone; take your time and relish the process of learning a new language.

This is the thing about the French people that I met during my exchange program in Lille when I was 16. I realized that even though they appreciate me trying to speak in French, understanding that it was hard to learn another language surtout le francais, they never speak slower istg :') Mais bravo! It's so cool that you did that only in 30 days!
Bon boulot. T'es super! Je suis trop fier de toi!
That was so cool! What a challenge, actually two challenges: making this video (so very well) and learning to speak French (awesome)! You get an A+ on both of these projects. Do think the way French is usually taught needs to change. I'd like to see the language taught using only sounds that sound close to English (do the same for speakers of other languages). This would help the student to gain confidence. And then, the lessons would gradually introduce sounds that are uniquely French, from the easiest sounds to the most difficult. Never mind forming sentences to navigate ones way around France. This will come later once the issues of French pronunciation have been laid to rest.
Hey brother, I'm just about to start my journey for learning French and your video honestly provides so much hope! Thanks so much for creating it! Plus, this is your first video that I saw, and your editing and cinematography skills are exceptional! Thanks for creating such amazing content! 🔥👍

Bonjour Ameer! Just stumbled upon your video and I must make a comment. I studied 2 years of French in community college and just completely forgot about it after working full time. I've always loved France since I was a child, and dreamed of someday going there someday. My dream came true as I went to Paris last October for a week, then I went to London afterwards. It was very short, but I'd say I enjoyed it a lot. From the moment I got off the airplane, to taking Le Metro, to speaking to cashiers and security, knowing a bit of French goes along way. I got lost at one point and had to speak broken French. It was a bit embarrassing, I'm probably A1 as well, but when they saw the effort, they really tried to help me out. The french is notoriously aloof and snobbish if you don't speak to them in French. I could just imagine the people I speak to here in the US who doesn't speak a lot of English and the struggle they must have. Learning a language is a journey, and it takes a lifetime to perfect it. Thank you for making this video! I might go back to France next year and see other parts of the country. Take care!
Bravo !

I’m a teen, and I’m still learning English at school, but the school didn’t teach me anything at all. It’s simply because I watch movies in English, play video games with English people, all of my fyp is in English (I also did a bit of Duolingo), and because I went to England. Otherwise, I would never have been able to speak/know English 😅 (sorry if I made mistakes!)
Hello my friend I saw your comment and I’m happy to know that are learning English, but I’m trying to learn French but I feel stuck, I’m currently living in France now and it’s a challenge I don’t know what to do 😢😢😢😢😢
@@cobalt2506 haha don’t worry! French is way harder than English, and you don’t really need to speak it to travel! (Only if you want to go to France or some African countries and even there you can speak English! Ofc you just need to learn the basic words like “Bonjour”, “Aurevoir”, “Merci”… etc) Learn it only if you are interested in French culture, etc 😁 It needs to be a passion! ❤️🔥
@@dernpeters9415 oh maybe you should take lessons with a native? But luckily if you live in France, you’ll learn the language more quickly than if you don’t 😆 Make French friends, they’ll teach you some of the slang. In which part of France do you live? Because that’s the thing the most difficult in French cause there are local ones and we almost talk only with them 😅😅 With determination, you’ll be able one day to be fluent, I’m sure! For now you can take lessons irl, and in plus on Duolingo/Busuu… etc. Be positive and never give up! 💃🔥🔥

This is so what I needed, and the R struggle is apt because R is for REAL (struggle :))! The only way I can pronounce correctly is holding my hand up against the front of my throat, which is of course infeasible and dangerous to do more than a little. Thank you for sharing this. You are a great and really gifted editor and content maker (I say as an old person who's never said that to anyone). I've avoided French my whole life because my mouth doesn't do right for French speaking, but due to a new situation I need to learn it and there's no way out of it. I was using the Coffee Break series, which I SUPER love for all other things but it isn't a deep tutorial in how to make your mouth do what it has to do for French general pronunciation so it fell flat for me this time. You are a major gift and so lucky to have an encouraging wonderful partner to support your challenge months too. Peace to you both in your travels and life together. Thank you!

Bro, that’s insane Gg, and your accent is very cute ! Btw you made me want to do the same thing with English
C'est incroyable ! Quel beau parcours !
That effort, work, editing that you put on this video, it wasn't a 20K sub level, it was waaay higher!
I'm studying English for like three months and watching this video i noticed a really true happiness... when u start to have a conversation with the driver, was fantastic your hapinnes while speaking and how the driver notice that as well. Congratulations bro
It's so fun to watch this video as a French person, switching between both languages makes the video very dynamic
Hey brother, I'm just about to start my journey for learning French and your video honestly provides so much hope! Thanks so much for creating it! Plus, this is your first video that I saw, and your editing and cinematography skills are exceptional! Thanks for creating such amazing content! 🔥👍
What applications did you use?
I'm french, and seeing you learning french made me proud of you and all the efforts you put in this task. french isn't an easy language, and even less an easy country to understand, but when you finally arrive to the point where you become a part french, you can see how wonderful this country is. hope you enjoyed your pain au chocolat and the protestations of the revolutionarists in the streets of Paris, bye.
Bro I don’t wanna even open the video due to the title coz It’s obvious that you can’t learn a language in 30 days. At least 5-6 years you can speak into certain level. 30 days are not enough.
tu as réussi a apprendre le Français très vite bravo!!! And I am learning english and your videos are so because I can understand everything you say, the way you speak is slow and perfectly undertandable for me.
Hats off to you, Ameer. That's really impressive what you've accomplished in 30 days!
Wow, so amazing. I'm french and I promess, it's amazing, you can really have a conversation with a french. Nice challenge and what a practice!!!
This is so motivational and helpful. Thank you for making this video.
hello from Japan!
I was so impressed because you literally overcome beginner level only in 30 days. That's so incredible.
I wanna become patient more like you seriously.
I also gonna start learning French myself and i now pump up.
My suggestion would be that you should learn Japanese in 30 days!!!
I'm looking forward to watching next video
French music and media are good tools and they are an entertaining way to learn.
Amazing ! I'm actually impressed because French is such a hard lanugage. Keep going you did well :)
Je suis très très impressionné, bravo ! Love from Switzerland
What a fantastic video, from the content, to the editing, to your honesty and authenticity. Thank you for publishing it. You hit the nail on the head, brother, when you said that you never knew how enlightening and fun learning a new language can be. I, too, am learning French this year and I can totally relate. Keep up the great work! 💯💯🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thank you so much!
Truly inspiring! I just learned that challenging yourself and committing to it is the key. Thanks for this video.
Bro you’re so good i’m french canadian and I know it’s not an easy task to learn french when it’s not your first language!
Good job bro!
All the respect to you man.. You really did a great job
I loved everything about this video and gave me inspiration in my language journey 🎉
I live in Belgium and we also have to learn French in school ive been learning for 5 years for 4 hours a week i feel like even though i can talk simple conversations the school system of learnig a language are not good so im happy to see someone proves the system wrong ❤
HAHA so relatable - the french teacher only allowing you to go to the toilet if you can ask in french
the one thing we’ll never forget LOL
That was english for me
Me googlint it on my phone then saying it just to get out of French
Take care!
Bravo !
this is such an inspiring video and i'm shocked to see so much improvement just for 30 days, you encouraged me a lot for learning french, thanks :)
This really inspired me at exactly the right time! Merci
Im soo inspired by this video it’s left tears in my eyes. Merci bien for sharing this experience. It’s also my dream to do the same. I’ve started learning French and hoped to get to Paris one day 🤓
J’espère que tu as continué !!!;)
I’m a teen, and I’m still learning English at school, but the school didn’t teach me anything at all. It’s simply because I watch movies in English, play video games with English people, all of my fyp is in English (I also did a bit of Duolingo), and because I went to England. Otherwise, I would never have been able to speak/know English 😅 (sorry if I made mistakes!)
your english is great! way better than my poor attempts at french anyway haha
Hello my friend I saw your comment and I’m happy to know that are learning English, but I’m trying to learn French but I feel stuck, I’m currently living in France now and it’s a challenge
I don’t know what to do 😢😢😢😢😢
@@cobalt2506 haha don’t worry!
@@bayaadele yeah I’m gonna see what I can do
There are people willing to help, but on the friends type of level which is understandable
But lives goes on and I will be determined for greatness
Très impressionnant ! Respect de France 🇫🇷✊🏼
so proud of you!!! your video is so fascinating. i'm a Vietnamese and i'm studying both English and French. this has inspired me a lot. very well done, thank you so muchhh!!! keep it up!
Thank you!
It's so inspiring! Thank you for this video!
Bro i’m French and I can actually say that you are really good bravo 👍
omg I love your content! I am planning to learn French and your video is very inspiring ❤

Bravo à toi ! Congratulations !
Trying to learn French in 2 months and I’m feeling REAL INSPIRED 😳 thank you!!
