    Hello everyone! I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia as well and I'm so excited to see how many people want to learn my main language it's crazyyy.
    An advice I could give you is don't give up I know learning a new language is hard (I know thanks english :P) but the most important thing is the discipline and make mistakes don't worry about that a lot of people like I like seeing someone learning our language.
    I hope this comment and video encourage you, I know you can be fluently If you really want to.
    Have a good day/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are :)

    You have good info but I wish people would stop using click bait to get views. There is no way someone can become FLUENT in Spanish in 30 days, especially from ZERO. This is not realistic and can harm people trying to learn because they begin to think something is wrong with them if they are not FLUENT in such little time. Also, it depends on what you mean by FLUENT.

    • @TimKimMe
      @TimKimMe  Місяць тому +3

      Thanks, I worked hard to try an include all of the information that helped me learn.
      To address your point, I literally start the video off by saying that I had previous experience and even included my background. I never said I was learning from "zero", the thumbnail of this video even says from BASIC to fluent.
      I even summarize it AGAIN in the end that I personally don't think anyone can become fluent in 30 days.
      ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/W6cBwdhLdk8/v-deo.htmlsi=bCclkxir7v1Laghk&t=760
      With all that being said, if you put in 80+ hours of 1-on-1 private speaking lessons with natives and an extra 20+ hours of language input and review like I did in 30 days, you should at LEAST be conversationally fluent.

      @greadore Місяць тому

      @@TimKimMe the title implies that a person can speak FLUENT Spanish in only one month. This is seen as having no previous experience with the language as that is not mentioned at all in the title. Your previous exposure to the language in school, through trips to Spanish speaking country and interaction with your wife is a HUGE benefit and advantage compared to someone starting from zero which the title implies.

    • @TimKimMe
      @TimKimMe  Місяць тому +1

      Nope, I def have to disagree with you on that one.
      Invoking curiosity is part of what brings people to your videos and a strategy you should use if you actually want to share your art + story.
      Even movies do this with trailers and misdirection.
      I very intentionally outline my background with Spanish as soon as the video starts to be as authentic and clear about my background with Spanish as possible and CLEARLY, if you actually watch the video I explain why I was able to gain so much ground in such a short period.
      Also, I stand by that if someone who had little to basic Spanish like I did followed my exact steps could reach conversational fluency like I did.

    You're sharing amazing tips in this video! I'd like to add that context immersion is the most important strategy when it comes to becoming fluent within a short period of time. I invite you (and all Spanish learners who are interested) to learn through phrases in context on my YT channel. 🤗

      Have you tired looking up language exchanges in your local area?
      Also try languages learning sites.
      You should be able to find a lot of native Spanish speakers wanting to learn English from you.

    You're not fluent after 32 days. And it's rare for someone to be fluent in Spanish after 32 days unless they have B1 level beforehand. So the title of this video is either clickbait or misleading. There I said it. :)
