I think something else that could be mentioned to add to this perspective is that motivation wears off, and then you’re just left with the hard work that you’re trying to accomplish, whether that be school or whatever your higher goal is. So you need to constantly remind yourself why you’re doing it and find that incentive to keep you going. Dope video bro

I started day trading years ago. Did very well but knew it wasn’t sustainable for long term. Too much stress and too much obsessing, staring at 1 minute candles! Too much. I’ve since switched to dividend investing. I won’t invest on anything that pays less than 7%. I treat my principle like it’s a rental property and the positions like tenants. Without passive income, you can’t retire. Simple.

Last November I turn 30 and I feel you man, I have the same issue. I’m a truck driver I make 6 figures a year. But some how I manage to not have the amount of savings I need to have, pay attention to what really is important etc
2024 I said is my year and I wanted to accomplish what I really wanted, in my 20s I spent way to much now in my 30s I want a different mindset, but still had my doubts. You can't value the product if you don't value the money you spend on it...
Investing in stocks is only wise if you have a plug. I propose something a lot safer. If you own a home with a principal payment, every L you take on sneakers, put that amount towards the principal on the loan, thus saving on interest, which is a better return than a dividend. Unless you invest tens of thousands. You can do the same with car loans and credit card balances. Once you own the home or car free and clear, use the value to purchase short sales. If you win a sneaker, if it cost $200, also pay $200 on something to eliminate interest on a loan.
