I agree with you I believe Gary Oldman should have won an Academy Award for best actor in a film I believe he was robbed of that Oscar cuz this was one of the best performances he has ever given during that time.
@@Valhalla77777 Nah - that movie is really boring, with almost no atmosphere (really bad lights and shadows), and bad acting, (not scary at all). And this Coppola version is really close to the book. With horrifying scenes (Lucy Westenra with baby coming back to her grave, for example - but i mean whole scene, when they come to her grave before her).
Blood hearts❣❣🧟♀️🧟♀️heres a top hat from Interview with the Vampire 🎩another vamp movie similar to that one pretty laid back Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise 😎👍
Thought the same. I have seen many of them and none look like this one. We must consider that it's only one good photo though, but even so you can feel somehow how they aged well and stay strong.
Actually Keanu is one of the "worst" in here. Not saying he does not look good, he does, but compared to the others he's not one of the best. They all look phenomenal.
That is definitely some nostalgic music. Makes me almost teary eyed thinking about all the time that has passed. Enjoy everyone....time waits for no man.
Creepiest most demonic representation of a vampire is when Lucy comes back to her grave. All movie vampires should be modelled after her. Best of all vampires, dead, soulless and evil and making demonic cackling sounds.
Oh god, I agree so much. I was so scared of her when I saw the movie. She was scarier than Dracula himself. I still get chills when I watch that scene.
Man the music is so melancholy and seeing the actors jump from youth to older (but ageing well!) kinda makes me sad how time passes by so quickly and you don’t realise how long ago this film actually came out.. thanks for posting though.
I was watching the video and got all emotional. Feels crying. My memory, my nostalgia, my favourite Dracula film as well as a vampire film. And one of my favourite films of all time. Those people had their best time together at their young age. It just hurts to see them ageing.
Viking Power, not sure why I can't see your comment in video comments, but just in case you deleted, in fear of offending, please know that there are still some of us women out there that will not take a compliment as bad. A true "lady" will appreciate a compliment and not think the worst of a gentleman. Hard to believe, I'm sure, in this crazy world we live in. If I guessed wrong on this, please accept my apology. My pic is 4 years old and yes that's me.
Jumped over to your page. Haven't heard that Heart song in a while. Good stuff. I'm the same age as well. Class of '92? I'm sure it happens to everyone as they get older, but things sure seemed to be more crisp back then. I guess it's youth. Some things back then do seem like yesterday while others so far away.
Thought he was so handsome when he was the young Dracula and was wooing Mina. Broke my heart how he cried when she told him she married Jonathan. Happy Mina and Dracula stayed together at the end.
That's life. But I don't think this cast in here is one to actually feel "depressed", not at all. Compared to other castings the actresses and actors in here aged so well and they all look good. At least in the photos showed of course. Yeah we all wish to stay young forever but that's not possible so we must accept our path and also know how to be older. For me it's a process. Accepting this is also important to keep loving yourself. Also we have enough knowledge to be healthier in many ways so that's something. And for sure, enjoy the youth because it won't be there always, at least physically.
This is the only Dracula movie I'll ever watch again. It's extremely beautiful visually, many of the scenes being works of art, like the scene of Lucy and Mina in the garden maze and the one of Mina in her bedroom at her typewriter. To say nothing of Lucy in her wedding dress and that amazing glass coffin ! I wish I had been the designer of that dress . The Japanese lady who designed it is a genius. That scene with the 3 brides who seduced Keanu (and gave him a hard on - see part where that most gorgeous of them has her hands on his legs, just before she goes down on him with her fangs and he screams). The most amazing thing about this film is that the whole thing was filmed inside a building. Everything was made up out of sets ! All this detail and I havent watched it in years ! (but Im going to put it own now). An absolute masterpiece of film making.
I wonder so much about Coppola, ONE OF THE BEST DIRECTORS IN THE WORLD! He's alongside Spielberg in terms of brilliance. Where is Coppola now? He deserves a full standing ovation and honors by Hollywood or the Oscar's. When God rained directing talent, Coppola got almost all of it! The scriptwriter/s, the costume designer/s, the production designer/s, all the creative crews...where are they now?
Man I love your work , you’re class man , I do appreciate it so much how much effort you go through to make those stunning research and making everything spotless perfect with dates and info and the music gives me goosebumps and really transporting me to places where I was at when I saw the photos and scenes from the respective movies , man I love what you’ve done in the SuperMan there and now , you’re class man you’re prime , thank you ❤️🙏🏼🙌🏼
A great horror movie! The director Francis Ford Coppola was left out of this picture. The cast of this film today have reached both middle age and old age.

The absolute BEST "Dracula" movie ever made! Gary Oldman deserved an Oscar for that performance!
birdsfan57 CORRECT
Most underrated actor ever: Gary Oldman!! he deserved more than 10 Oscar and did get only one........
No this isn't best, too much vampire copy.
I agree with you I believe Gary Oldman should have won an Academy Award for best actor in a film I believe he was robbed of that Oscar cuz this was one of the best performances he has ever given during that time.
Gary Oldman wasn't even nominated for an Oscar, the movie won 2 Oscars for Best Costumes and Sound Editing
Can we just appreciate how Winona looks exactly the same? She's the real vampire here
Yes :) indeed!
Michaela Bercu is more vampire than her. She looks awesome!!!
Its called makeup and cameras little dumbasses.🤣 go ahead and believe in fairy tails while you can. There's much worse out here than "vampires". 🤣
Agree natural
She looks better now than she did in 92....
The BEST "Dracula" movie ever! There was pain behind the evil, and brief humanising of the character so we know how he came to be! Brilliant!
Yes the most truthful adaptation of the novel
I´m sorry, but I don´t agree with that. The Klaus Kinski´s Nosferatu is less comercial one and more pure movie.

it feels like the 90s were just yesterday, sometimes it's hard to believe we're already 19 years into the 21st century
It's painfully hard for me to think about that.

Yes they are...

Yes, time has been kind to these guys, really good film, Gary oldmans a great actor.

Gary Oldman's my favorite actor too.

And tons and tons of blood from her mouth 👍🚀
I agree Sadie Frost killed it. It's a performance that has always stayed with me. Few do.
You need to watch Dracula 1979, Lucy/Mina transformation into a demonic looking vampire is impressive and horrifying.
Nominay no kidding, she’s a seasoned actress. She really put a lot into her role , and she “ nailed “ it for sure .
Oh god, I agree so much. I was so scared of her when I saw the movie. She was scarier than Dracula himself. I still get chills when I watch that scene.
