Such an intriguingly surreal part of the game this was. The contrast of all the bright, colorful world environments with that mysteriously foreboding music playing over all of them just hits the perfect mix.
In 2021 I kinda was in some qaurter life crisis. This level made me feel.... regonised, or something that I remember in 2002. The level has this metaphor too me. You walk through and things are calm but like saying something you remember or that things we know, or knew. When you grow up you understand it. There were corridors I went through and each represented like time, one was clear, the others as like the same became mush, distorted like change in some way. Like what Walter white says, growth, decay and transformation. Things have their time. But I just sit, stand around looking around. Wonder. Its contemplating.
I don't know how anybody else feels but me personally I feel that adding the Demon from Fantasia in the game as a boss was a nice touch. I want him to make a comeback in the next game whenever that will be.
The writers for these games are both talented and probably insane, the type of people to write 10 novels worth of plot before the first game even comes out.

His world was actually going to be in KH1 but they couldn't get the engine to work well enough to support a four legged playable character so they cut it.
i had my first death in this game from chernabog too, but mine was probably from distraction after watching a recording i made during the fight where chernabog does this move that makes a funny sound and knocks you back
im sure a nintendo 64 can run this game; although the cartridge would have to not have the animated faces at all (where the humans' lips form words and so do the animals')
Quick question--and I'm just curious--but on the Ship part of the end of the world, is there a chest of puppies on board (or are there any Puppy Chests in The End of The World?)? I heard whimpering while you were going through it, unless it's just the ship creaking.
I REALLY could use someone's help on battling the Chernabog. I need to know whats the best weapon to use and what level is the best to battle him. I think I'm level 47 or 48. Also the Phantom in Neverland when should I battle him? Do I need to battle him or is it an optional battle? Please let me know. I REALLY want to beat this game! Thanks.
RodStewartfan1 I had tink on me the entire battle, was at level 55, on expert on the path of the warrior (ps2), used divine rose, and used aeroga for the last two health bars. You have to pay close attention to chernabogs movements, when he starts bending down that mean get out of there right now, right after the fire blast is done start attacking while he's breathing out the fire and repeat until the last part, fly away from the balls he throws at you and stay behind him with tink and aeroga casted, also you should cast curaga often, have plenty of elixers or ethers on you
I think it's talking about the Heartless. As for the thing, its heavily implied to be how five certain individuals removed their hearts before it was later decided that a Keyblade was involved instead.

I finally beat it!!! I'm actually playing rechain now! Anyway what I did was just go back to all the worlds and level Sora. You are going to need a high level after the heartless because the final boss is a bitch!!!
you're right; i am at level 50-something and i gave up at ansem's 2nd fight which is a solo battle (i wish it wasn't since the saying in this series "my friends are my power" applies here

The shield is dropped by defender heartless and I don't know where he got the staff but I'm guessing it's dropped by wizard heartless

Actually I FINALLY beat KH 1 the beginning of March! I was so happy! Now I'm playing KH 2. Its a lot easier then KH 1 so far!

The phantom is optional for if you want stopga. Personally, I never beat it but I think the recommended level is 65 or 68
