Loved your video ❤ my husband and I are 65. We’ve never eaten packaged or frozen food and I can my own garden up and make granola. It’s fun and people always guess us younger than we are. That’s fun too😉be well🙏
Love all kinds of berries with yoghurt and granola. But now berry season is over my favourite breakfast is with apples. I bake some slices in butter. Meanwhile I whisk an egg, add some oatmeal and some yoghurt. That goes on top of the apples. Little bit of cinnamon and some raisins. Wait till cooked and yummie.
I love Lentil Vegetable Soup...sautee chopped celery, carrots, onion and garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes. I add vegetable broth, chopped fresh or stewed tomatoes, a large peeled chopped Russett potatoe or a peel chopped sweet potatoe, a large overfilled cup of washed dried lentils, and cumin and black pepper to taste. I also add either washed chopped spinach or chopped kale after the Lentils soften up and cook maybe another 20 minutes. Love it the second day as the soup thickens up. I could eat this with different vegetables thrown in all year long but since it gets too hot here in California in the summer I tend to take about a 5 month break without Lentil soup...just going to start making this again since it is officially Fall here.

Thank you so much for sharing! I eat almost the same way you do. I am about to turn 50 and have been in the same size clothes since college so it must be working. I also eat (non-dairy) yogurt bowls with fruits and nuts, smoothies, canned healthy organic soup like Amy’s low sodium Lentil and healthier frozen meals and vegetables. I am disabled and cannot cook from scratch but eating this way helps keep my weight and bloodwork looking excellent 🙏🏼

Hi Tamara ! Happy Sunday . You have beautiful surroundings for your morning walks . Your kitchen is cozy and warm . My breakfast is pretty much the same as yours . I’m using up our avocados from our tree so I switch it up with Avocado toast and make 1 egg with egg whites in a small bowl in the microwave and top the avocado with the egg and a little whipped cottage cheese with my homemade everything spice on top or that can be lunch . I love Rapini so I steam up the whole bunch , it last a few days , and have that with a little feta and break up some walnuts on top and then I open a can of sardines (I know a lot of people say yuck ) with spicy mustard . It feels so good to eat clean and healthy . Dinner is usually a protein like fish or chicken and a veggie or salad . I make a bunch of quinoa salad filled with veggie goodies and a little vinaigrette that lasts a few days to snack on . I like leftovers for our lunches so I make healthy one skillet meals a lot . You reminded me to make my sprouts ! Have a great week ❌⭕️

Black and white with a good section filmed around the riverfront and gazebo. You would recognize it even today. And your food looks great, too.

I’m a newbie to your channel. Where did you get your T-shirt? If you have a vitamix, you don’t need to premix the protein powder before putting in blender. I live in the the deep tropics of Panama 🇵🇦 and no access to convenient foods so I use my Instapot all the time and my Vitamix! I’m 63 and plant based eater for decades. Yesterday, a friend said they thought I was 52! Nice compliment

Hello Tamara! I loved seeing your beautiful view of the sunrise and the cute shops on your walk. I am visting my sister in Colorado and am enjoying the glorious sunrises over the mountains. I eat the very same breakfast as you and probably one of my favorite 'quick' meals is to cook up some pasta (my favorite is made with Lupini beans - nice and high in protein) and heat up Rao's Tomato and Basil sauce to serve over top with a serving of broccoli or a salad. Yum!

I grew up in California's Central Valley surrounded by almond, walnut and apple orchards as well as vineyards. As such, we incorporated fruits and nuts into everything. In addition to hemp and pumpkin seeds, I add ground flax seeds to many dishes. In smoothies, I use nut milk in lieu of water. Of course avocado, in Cali, is a food group. P.S. Good question! It is possible, but not likely for hemp to cause a false positive test. I was surprised to learn that there are several other herbs and supplements that can also cause a false positive such as cilantro, tumeric and kava as well as some over the counter cold medicines. The web site just said to avoid these substances for several days prior to a drug test.

OMG! try a soup recipe! Use it to make pudding! Not to mention every day for a healthy smoothie! You will wonder how you lived without it! It is really a food processor not just a blender.
I can cook some wonderful dishes, chicken and vegetable soup on the docket today. But I am not always in the mood to chop and prep, so Amy’s frozen entrees.come in handy. The only problem is they are running $6 per box these days so I wait for a sale. I lived in a condo on a pier literally over the Hudson over a decade ago and had a thrilling view of Manhattan. We now live on a river on the West Coast with views of mountains. Two different vibes; love them both!

We need adequate amounts of protein as we age. You need truck loads of vegetables or legumes to provide enough bio available protein. We NEED protein for muscle which is critical for older people. Guess I landed on the wrong channel.

You have that great Vita-Mix Blender you should make a batch of Pesto. Freeze it in ice cube trays. Toss into soups, stews, put on a pizza. And I ve used walnuts & pistachios in place of pine nuts. I barely cook for myself, but thus is one thing I do make.
I'm not vegetarian, but I don't eat meat very often. When I do it's usually fish and poultry and mostly when I dine out. I always keep some canned sardines in the house for a quick protein hit.

I love Lentil Vegetable Soup...sautee chopped celery, carrots, onion and garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes. I add vegetable broth, chopped fresh or stewed tomatoes, a large peeled chopped Russett potatoe or a peel chopped sweet potatoe, a large overfilled cup of washed dried lentils, and cumin and black pepper to taste. I also add either washed chopped spinach or chopped kale after the Lentils soften up and cook maybe another 20 minutes. Love it the second day as the soup thickens up. I could eat this with different vegetables thrown in all year long but since it gets too hot here in California in the summer I tend to take about a 5 month break without Lentil soup...just going to start making this again since it is officially Fall here.

Favourite breakfast is 3 eggs scrambled or poached with half an avocado. I used to love making smoothies. Must get back at it.

I also eat (non-dairy) yogurt bowls with fruits and nuts, smoothies, canned healthy organic soup like Amy’s low sodium Lentil and healthier frozen meals and vegetables. I am disabled and cannot cook from scratch but eating this way helps keep my weight and bloodwork looking excellent 🙏🏼

Tamara, you look so lovely. At 61 myself, you inspire me, and I have a much healthier diet and exercise routine now than I did 20 years ago. Anytime I watch one of your videos, I also feel so much peace and serenity and comfort. I think it's because this is how you try to live your life, and it shows. Hi Tamara ! Happy Sunday . You have beautiful surroundings for your morning walks . Your kitchen is cozy and warm . My breakfast is pretty much the same as yours . I’m using up our avocados from our tree so I switch it up with Avocado toast and make 1 egg with egg whites in a small bowl in the microwave and top the avocado with the egg and a little whipped cottage cheese with my homemade everything spice on top or that can be lunch . I love Rapini so I steam up the whole bunch , it last a few days , and have that with a little feta and break up some walnuts on top and then I open a can of sardines (I know a lot of people say yuck ) with spicy mustard . It feels so good to eat clean and healthy . Dinner is usually a protein like fish or chicken and a veggie or salad . I make a bunch of quinoa salad filled with veggie goodies and a little vinaigrette that lasts a few days to snack on . I like leftovers for our lunches so I make healthy one skillet meals a lot . You reminded me to make my sprouts !

Just for your information if you don't already know, I believe it was in the late forties there was a terrific movie called "Letter to Three Wives" with stars such as Kirk Douglas, Paul Douglas, Ann Southern, Linda Darnell, and Jeanne Crain with Celeste Holm doing a voice over. Black and white with a good section filmed around the riverfront and gazebo. You would recognize it even today. And your food looks great, too.

I’m a newbie to your channel. Where did you get your T-shirt? If you have a vitamix, you don’t need to premix the protein powder before putting in blender. I live in the the deep tropics of Panama 🇵🇦 and no access to convenient foods so I use my Instapot all the time and my Vitamix! I’m 63 and plant based eater for decades. Yesterday, a friend said they thought I was 52! Nice compliment

Hello Tamara! I loved seeing your beautiful view of the sunrise and the cute shops on your walk. I am visting my sister in Colorado and am enjoying the glorious sunrises over the mountains. I eat the very same breakfast as you and probably one of my favorite 'quick' meals is to cook up some pasta (my favorite is made with Lupini beans - nice and high in protein) and heat up Rao's Tomato and Basil sauce to serve over top with a serving of broccoli or a salad. Yum!

I grew up in California's Central Valley surrounded by almond, walnut and apple orchards as well as vineyards. As such, we incorporated fruits and nuts into everything. In addition to hemp and pumpkin seeds, I add ground flax seeds to many dishes. In smoothies, I use nut milk in lieu of water. Of course avocado, in Cali, is a food group. P.S. Good question! It is possible, but not likely for hemp to cause a false positive test. I was surprised to learn that there are several other herbs and supplements that can also cause a false positive such as cilantro, tumeric and kava as well as some over the counter cold medicines. The web site just said to avoid these substances for several days prior to a drug test.

I can cook some wonderful dishes, chicken and vegetable soup on the docket today. But I am not always in the mood to chop and prep, so Amy’s frozen entrees.come in handy. The only problem is they are running $6 per box these days so I wait for a sale. I lived in a condo on a pier literally over the Hudson over a decade ago and had a thrilling view of Manhattan. We now live on a river on the West Coast with views of mountains. Two different vibes; love them both!
Pumpkin seed do get rid of certain worms that we all can get. Really good for ur dogs and cats they make it in a oil.

We need adequate amounts of protein as we age. You need truck loads of vegetables or legumes to provide enough bio available protein. We NEED protein for muscle which is critical for older people. Guess I landed on the wrong channel.

You have that great Vita-Mix Blender you should make a batch of Pesto. Freeze it in ice cube trays. Toss into soups, stews, put on a pizza. And I ve used walnuts & pistachios in place of pine nuts. I barely cook for myself, but thus is one thing I do make.

I'm not vegetarian, but I don't eat meat very often. When I do it's usually fish and poultry and mostly when I dine out. I always keep some canned sardines in the house for a quick protein hit.
If you care about caffeine, try and check coffee and green tea. I read few articles where it says the green tea may have cofeine than coffee😊
