Plenty of cars just waiting to be brought back to life, and relive alot more glory days. Cars that had style, and you knew one car from the next. Today's cars look identical to each other. Classic cars only go up in value
@@ruachadam5227 a little new for this place. I should clarify.... I'm 53 yrs old and haven't been there since I was 10 lol. Friends and I would play in the yard amongst the gold.
Makes me wonder that most of those cars probably got there in pretty good running conditions and probably a lot of them when arrive there , were much better than any 10 years old junk they call cars nowadays . Awesome video thank for sharing
I have been to that yard they have cars at the front entrance for sale in really good shape. I think they pull a car out once in a while and fix it up not to much just enough for someone to restore it. The yard us huge I didn't even go all the way in I bought some stuff at the front where they have parts already pulled off cars.
Well, during and after the oil crisis, a lot of people junked their 60s and 70s land boats, even if they were in good condition. And in the 80s a lot of these 60s and 70s cars were destroyed in demolition derbies and monster truck shows.
Fantastic finds! Makes me want to plan a trip there to explore! Spotted a couple VERY VERY saveable cars that are easy to access with a flatbed. One `59 Chevy Nomad wagon looked VERY complete that I would want!
Imagine how proud the original owners were when they first got their cars and were driving them around back when they were new! Some of them don't even belong in a junkyard but in somebody's garage! Junkyards should only be filled with newer modern cars, not classics!
you are WAY ahead money wise to buy a car that is DONE or near done. In other words, you are better off buying a number 2 or 3 car and enjoy it, rather then buying a number 5 car and restoring it. you will (a number 5 is a PROJECT or parts car) spend 100K to fix that number 5 car. I restored a number 4 1969 Dodge Charger back in 1994. I brought it up to just under a number 2 car and had 30 K into it. If I would have bought a number 3 car to start with, I would have had LESS then 30K into it.
@@snoopu2601 : use to be able to...Dad and I used him often when we built classic daily drivers for clients... too many ppl stuffed parts in there pockets☹️
There ought to be some kind of law that you can't destroy those old cars anymore, there are plenty of homes for those old cars out there a lot of empty garages that need cars and trucks to be restored.
These are not all stripped down .lots of cars not shells . And yes I would love to walk all over for a day or two . Maybe check off some thing from my bucket list .👍

I'm not sure if visiting that junkyard would be heaven or hell. So much great old iron would be great to check out which would make it heaven, but not being able to get all of the ones I want would make it hell.

Wow could wander around that place for days thank you for filming it !
Next time the seller of a classic tells you, " it's the only one left" show em this vid!
They have a nice 1953 Hudson at 2:55 in saddle tan,a one year color. From what I can see, its a ptetty good shape
When going to Wendell don't blink! You'll miss it lol. It's a very small town. I grew up there.

What a Amazing View ..If all Old American Cars could tell stories...I hope they are 4 Sale ...
Everything is for sale, for the right price.

There ought to be some kind of law that you can't destroy those old cars anymore, there are plenty of homes for those old cars out there a lot of empty garages that need cars and trucks to be restored.
Especially for Hollywood. They pointlessly wreck tons of old cars in stupid TV shows for dumb ass punks and movies that no one will remember.
t j I agree with you totally! There the only American cars worth a damn anymore!
Mike Bell it’s on his property! One man’s junk is another man’s treasure! You obviously know nothing about classic cars!😲

Really the music?! No!!!!!
the Jeep Grand Cherokee wagoneer the only saw it for a minute that truly saddens me seeing this much American history getting rusted away
I noticed too..., 360 QuadraTrack.

Not sure but never seen a 59 Chevy impala wagon awesome vid
Wow could you imagine growing up on a place like that
If those car's could talk ....

I would love to go there and be able to pick out and keep any one of those i choose.
The reason most of these cars are just sitting here is because of the outrageous pricing. Lots of potential, but at very high pricing
They do that everywhere I go.who is gonna pay 25,000$ for a rusted out studebaker

Naturally, it’s profitable for the capitalist to sell plastic disposable cars instead of allowing everyone to drive old reliable cars
U ain't kinding I needed a wing window for a 50 buick he wanted 900$ for it
I got the same window out desert valley Auto parts for 180$
Yes... but the bastards sale the cars to the scrap nozzles for 100.00 a car.
Hell yeah oh, I love that soundtrack!
SAD. those cars are so much better than the garbage they make today.. Real steel,Iron and chrome and roomy.
When the USA knew how to build a car or truck that lasted the test of time.
Exactly . The greatest cars ever ....
What happened
When people put these together by hand in Detroit. I remember owning some of these when i first started driving. If i only knew.
Hope this Video can be seen by all the car restoration guys out there. Im sure they can save alot of these cars IF THESE ARE FOR SALE ....
I remember when I went 8 years ago when I was 10 I swear it went for ever lots of Mopar’s and chevys
The hare was there looking for his older brother....the Volkswagen Rabbit

I'd rather see them here than rollin' around on some gay assed low profile tires set upon 22 inch wagon wheels.
Most of them look pretty well gone through.
