Thank you for the recepie! Dont worry about cassava! There are two cassavas, one bitter and one sweet. The one tha is dangerous is the bitter one and usually is used in big industries to produce cassava flour. They use special process to remove the toxic part. The sweet casava is that one that is used in our houses. The toxic in these are very reduced and when boiling it it evaporates. So, if its bitter dont use at home, if its sweet is safe!
In Ghana here we have a lot different types of Cassavas with different local names but all cassava.. the ones use for fufu are different from the ones use for cassava dough for “banku”
Thank you for this recipe. We have safe cassava in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 but I am not a big fan however I love sweet potatoes. I have in my garden and will use the sweet potato leaves as my spinach.

Joy Lv Tube: cassava lovers are here! I get that too about cassava being Poisonous🤗 According to research that I made , some types of cassava boiled water is not safe to use.so it's advisable to drain your cassava boiled water properly and discard it. Do not reuse boiled cassava water ! Anyway, it looks palatable 👍

Snails 🐌 like these.
Can you use frozen cassava? How would that work?
Absolutely ❤️
You just follow the same steps. Add frozen cassava after sauce is done, add less water since the frozen tends to soften faster.
@@aesinam Thank you Thank you
Please can I replace the cassava with yam instead using the same method
❤❤❤
Yummy
😍😍😍
As an Irish woman, I have to say I don't recognise this as porridge. But it is surely a tasty dish!
It is actually a pottage but it got lost in translation at some point so we all call it porridge in Ghana lol
@@aesinam I expect porridge is really a corruption of pottage.
Thanks sweetie😋👌👌👌👏
