    This is called Garri in Nigeria. I made this with Egusi soup for some Caribbean friends, got a message tonight saying it’s called Farine. Just glad Africa and Caribbean connect like that, big ups

    Great video! If you’re near an African grocer you can find farine sold as “gari” 😋

    Woow are you grenadian? Then you're from the BESTEST country in the world. I'm so excited to learn you got your cassava from here! I have in my cupboard and keep saying I need to use it. I only knew to soak it and add a little sugar to taste. I'm going to try it now for breakfast with a little local fruit ( orange cherries and tomato ) on the side. Will report back to you. Tannia log is another delicious of the delicious.

    Fresh cassava is available in California. I’m going to try the porridge from grated cassava and see how it would turn out.

      It came straight from the Caribbean, someone brought it for me, I know this store that usually sells it, if they still have I’ll let you know.

    a thing is not so clear here .... so you're saying the cassava will start to form lumps on my body if i do not occasionally keep stirring it in the pot? You said it a few times so I want to make sure. Is the cassava a dangerous plants that forms lumps on me if it is not mixed thoroughly?

    • @NellysKreations
      @NellysKreations  4 роки тому +2

      That’s NOT what I meant. When I said it’ll form lumps on you I meant metaphorically it’ll form lumps in the pot 🤦🏾‍♀️
