I love that Dennis narrates this video. I've watched all of the Teraflex videos because I like his sense of humor. Dennis, if you're reading this, and if you ever find yourself in Kansas, I'd like to buy you a beer!
I graduated from HS Moab, 1953. My buddy and I had a 46 Willys Jeep. I am so happy to see so many people enjoy the thrills of mobility in extreme conditions. There are many secret locations and edifices that exist in the area. Even the Parks Dept or locals don,t know about. Iguana
I hear so many sexy diesels! What motor are they? Surly not the little common rail we get in Australia. Does most of the terraflex aftermarket gear matchup to diesel drive lines, motors, weight?
Seems like a two door would have had a better shot at the Rock Chucker. The shorter wheel base could have took it on in two parts rather then try to climb the whole thing at once?
Spotter wise, most people aired down 8-10 PSI, some didnt want to air down that much and we were unable to force anyone to do something they didnt want to do!
Sorry lady a LOT of people see Moab, it's a very very busy tourist destination for off-road and other stuff like hiking, mtnbing. The remote place you need a motorcycle, hike, or bike into and even then it's not like no one has been there before just because you feel it's remote.
"I can put a rock in it" - um no, no you don't that is very taboo to pile rocks to make it easier for YOU. And if you do build please remove the rocks.
JK models have a large enough engine compartment that you need minimal work done to fit a big diesel in it. It's a pretty popular choice for newer jeeps. One of the jeep in here you can see it spewing black smoke. Some older model Jeep had 4 cylinder diesels in them from the factory but that's not really a thing anymore.
+blueduster74 lockers are key. also the ramcharger, bronco, and blazer are great platforms for wheeling, wheelbase and trackwidth is perfect for stability.
I mean im sure you could with lots of fabrication, but why take out the 4.0, you could easily do anything these guys with a stock 4.0 motor. Its more about axles, gearing and other mods. Would be a cool show off project though!
Funny thing is that most of the jeeps had their tops on..... All the "spotters" need to pipe down and let the drivers try some attempts before chiming in.
Yea right couldn't count the toys we had to pull out from broken axels drive shafts and one broken frame.the only reason people leave a toy stock is because Toyota's don't build any heavy aftermarket stuff or motors with enough power to do anything. Facts for u

Nice! Love the viewpoints for recording the OHV going over obstacles. Thanks for sharing!

GAVE YOU A THUMBS UP SINCE IT MEANS SO MUCH
We've been many places where a spotter was helpful. Don't remember anytime when more were better.
I saw a guy ride this whole trail on a YFZ450. Also saw the same guy go up Wipeout hill on the same fourwheeler.
Do it at night, drunk and backwards. I loved growing up there. Welcome to Moab.
Anyone out there remember seeing my jeep? The license plate read ROKCHKR...

They kept saying "vehicle"... Surprised they didn't say JKU Rubicon, seeing as every owner of one thinks it's the only thing that can make it.
Hello Teraflex, was that an AEV brute? The matte green pickup jeep?
Bruiser was/is a badass rig!
So no one made it up Rock Chucker?? :(
difrutar la juventud que no dura siempre !!! ruta imtresionante !!!
what that green jeep jk ute called thats sick
Such a great trail
At 10:25 I've seen other vehicles behave similar. What components would make a jeep bounce like that vs another that doesn't?
holy crap that is a lot of dope jeeps
wow...wonderful scenery, i would love to do off roading like that...unfortunately..i dont live in america..and i don't own a 4wd :-(
Some of these sound like they have diesels. Can you get a diesel in a Jeep?

There's nothing like a jeep period.
What roof rack does the white Teraflex jeep have?
Looks like the Gobi Stealth to me. The ladder on the back is kind of the giveaway.
Jeep for ever
Did I hear a couple Diesels,Lol!!
You forgot widow maker on the trail

Jesse Woody You take your top off in this terrain and you'll be inhaling dirt all day. I learned that the hard way.
noone like a bunch of back seat drivers!! that shit would have drove me nuts!!!!
too much tire pressure in most the Jeeps
A good safe and comfortable air pressure for general offroad use is 15 PSI.
not a lot of throttle control either. lot of casuals not paying attention to the journeymen...
Wrong. I run 8 without locks and 3 with.
matt vorhees You just sound like a dick.
*toad is having fun.*
Dennis needs to stop chocking on Mick lol
