What I instantly noticed about the G3 was how bad the colour settings were out of the box. After two evenings I finally realised that the energy saving mode was still enabled.
Both tvs are very very similar while watching content because the peak brightness improvements are incrimental. But for gaming they are night and day because Lg now implemented their colour boosting algorithm into game mode ( all other Lg Tvs dont use the panels full potential in game mode which has been a well known problem for years )

Can you review the TCL QM851G 65” (2024)? I’ve been seeing lots of reviews praising its gaming capabilities and being the best budget gaming TV, some even saying it’s comparable to the LG G4 and Sony Bravia 9 (at least in terms of gaming). The TCL QM851G supports HDMI 2.1 up to 144hz, it was tested at around 6,000 nits of peak brightness, and it has an extensive game mode with up to 240 VRR. Nice OLED, I think it really comes down to when you bought the G3 if someone is passed the return policy then the G3 is a fantastic choice, not only that it also depends on the person's financial situation, both will give you a great picture the difference is settled in most cases. I have the G3 I can say it quite bright for most use cases, I love gaming on it not only that the color pop is amazing
VRR is one of the most overrated next gen features a tv can offer. Imo it just degrades picture quality for "perceived" screen tearing, which I have never experienced on any TV ever in my life.

Hey Chris, how about mini LEDs category, 65 inch as well do you recommend the Sony Bravia 7 or the LG QNED miniLED 91 2024? Really appreciate your opinion and suggestions as it would help me a lot to make a decision 🙏🏻🫶🏻 Great video as always ❤
Just look, things i desire but finding it difficult to acquire...All the 2 are great...I wish i can have any of them
I wanna g4 but they are so effin expensive
The level of big tech you get such as tv? Do you return them or give them away or have like a football stadium size storage unit or something lol?
Nice OLED, I think it really comes down to when you bought the G3 if someone is passed the return policy then the G3 is a fantastic choice, not only that it also depends on the person's financial situation, both will give you a great picture the difference is settled in most cases. I have the G3 I can say it quite bright for most use cases, I love gaming on it not only that the color pop is amazing
VRR is one of the most overrated next gen features a tv can offer. Imo it just degrades picture quality for "perceived" screen tearing, which I have never experienced on any TV ever in my life.
Coming from a G1 I bought in 2022, not going to spend another few thousand to just keep up. A TV I'll have for the next 8 years easy ;)
G4 v A95L?
It’s really pointless to have those tv’s when the ps5 barely keeps stable 60. Saving for a powerful PC and buy a g4 for it.
