Great video. I have been to Oregon three times and the Columbia River Gorge is absolutely the best train-watching spot in the US. Many railfans don't even know about it.
Hi Dan another great video, that garbage train, where are they actually taking the garbage to to dispose of it, i would have thought with all the baron ground in the hills and mountains seen on these videos that there would be ample sites for what we call ground fill site where the garbage is put in a empty pit in layers with ground fill in between
I really appreciate you making these stunning videos. I can't imagine how much work goes into producing each and every one. All I can say is thank you!
Those potash cars are really cool to me....shortish, but very heavy. And long unit trains always appeal to me. Neat stuff and another super video! Thanks Dan..
@@espeescotty Not sure how many are standard on the CanAm corridor but I'll bet anywhere between 170 and 201. Dependant on siding length of course. They regularly run around 200 cars on the CP mainline up here. Cheers -grant
Congratulations on your channel and beautiful filming work, my channel is about the railway, especially the locomotives of the logistics route in Araraquara s.p - Brazil, it is worth sharing the videos with us

Love your videos, wished you could take a trip to Fraser and Thompson canyons in BC and do some filming there?
Someday I will. That is pretty much the best place in the world in my opinion.
@@TheRailfanDan I have travelled in Canada four times, a drone video in white canyon in Skihist would be 👍👍👍
Another great video Dan! Thank you for sharing with us!

They take it to Roosevelt WA which wasn't too much farther from the location you saw it at here.

Thanks very much!
Good videography and music choice.
Last shot was truly epic!
Beautiful !!!
Beautiful! The Columbia Gorge has some of the most stunning scenery in the nation, if not the world. Question: is that Mt. Adams in the distance?
Mt. Hood
Excellent!
Good stuff Dan!
Amazing videos !!
Nice work, Dan!
Stunning
Amazing stuff!
Thanks Tanner!
Dan, One question?
What's for lunch?
I mean, what you pack in your cooler?
Gotta get hungry out there?
That first train, the potash one, was impressively long. Does anyone know how many cars that particular trains usually runs?
Good eye on that. I'm not sure but I'm willing to bet that is pretty normal.
