Very nice job on this kit.👍 Tamiya makes kits that challenge builders without overwhelming them with poor fitment or poor instructions.
About to build this kit glad I checked out this video still new to moddle building 💯🤙
Hey new subscriber of your channel for support red R33 turned out excellent well done my friend
Awesome work got any and advice for new modeller thanks 🙏
Thanks mate. My first advice is to get a good kit that will make your life much easier. then watch a lot of videos to see the process (preferably from multiple builders) and then build build build... nothing can replace experience so you have to get your own.
Hi Metodi, thank you for sharing these videos, I started scale modeling recently and learned a lot from your channel. Keep up the good work! If you are up to, I would be happy to connect!
How did you paint the GT-R logos? They are so tiny.
Hi! What a fantastic job. I’m currently doing this as my first one, I’m doing the body in Monza blue. Would you recommend painting the headlights, window frames and the splitter before or after the blue? Thanks.
Usually you get the body colour, clear coat, polish and then the details... Not that it cannot be done the other way around but the workflow is better.
MM Scale Models thanks for the quick reply! I have done the body colour already, I just wasn’t sure weather to do the details before the clear coat, it looks really nice so I don’t want to ruin it. So I can paint the splitter, window frames and lights over the top of the clear coat? Is that what you mean buddy?
@@Callum-wt2yf Yup, the clear coat I really tough so no issues with it, besides you can polish out any overspray or light scratches.
Push!!!
I'm about to try painting using airbrush. If I want to use Mr.Surfacer as primer, what is your recommended ratio between the primer and the thinner?
That would depend on the airbrush as well as your environment conditions, so 50/50 is a good starting point and then adjust as necessary.
hey mate i know this is a bit late but why do you put a silver layer first then the red? looks awesome as well man! have a great day
Thanks mate, red is extremely sensitive to what colour you have under it so silver or yellow are the preferred under coats. Silver makes the paint pop. Also if lay the paint in a way that it does not have full opacity you get a nice metallic appearance.
I have a difficulty in what to do with the front wheels. Should I put glue between the axle and the brake? Or I just leave it with the axle that turns them without glue?
@@MMScaleModels thank you for your quick response!! I will move forward following your video directions!
fucking golf it music
Beautiful work....very precise and detailed! Congrats on a job well done.
Thanks Robert 👍🍻
