Andrew, We - the 92% - are proud of you. Maybe that sounds silly, coming from a stranger, but that's how I feel. Thank you for practicing the radical transparency that allows us to share the journey and learn with you along the way. I hope you understand this for the compliment it is: I feel sure I would enjoy working for you. Part of the fun in watching this channel comes from behind-the-scenes peeks at the company life of NC. This message was a real treasure.
I moved to another country and felt at home immediately. No home sickness. My new country gave me everything my home country did not and it was not about money
It's a burnout feeling even when you like your work. It really piles on close to the 30 yr career mark as your parents pass and you realize your remaining time is less than your past. The value of personal time over business becomes more clear and some feelings of regret over past use of time start to creep in. So, take time for yourself and loved ones earlier than later.
Thank you for bearing your soul in this one, Andrew. You add value to so many peoples' lives. I resonate with what you said on so many levels. I was at the top of my game 3 years ago, having, as a single mom, taken my 6 kids to live in the Czech Republic. In spite of tons of criticism from family for doing that, we loved the people and they loved us, we built a business and we flourished. Then, because of covid, we had to come back to the US in 2020. Almost instantly, I was attacked by narcissists in every sphere of my life. I fell into that freeze response and I've pretty much lost everything and am having to start over. But, you sharing gives me hope. Those people think they've crushed me and that I'm done, but they've got another thing coming. I will not quit. I will not give up. The best is yet to come. And next time, we won't be coming back.
I’m a Canadian (America Lite, without the attendant ostensible perks of the US but sharing all of the socioeconomic downsides). Recently acquired my EU member passport and am giving Czechia a hard look even with not speaking the language (yet). Can you speak to the biggest cultural/socioeconomic differences (both better and any worthwhile worse) that would may immediately impact an under-40 expat settling there long term. Of course Prague would be the obvious initial target to set up for future plans due to English prevalence but was wondering about more “on the ground” tips that cannot be easily found online. Thanks.
To help you with your question , Prague is already full of expats from all over the world. Yes, you can use English and learn Czech over the time, but the locals are not that friendly as they used to be before. They are tired of all foreigners. Prices are sometimes more than in Canada or US. I would opt for less crowded place. Czechia used to be diferrent than it is now. @@jasperalberts7647
I'm 23 Andrew I moved out of the US when I was 21 thanks to you & you're one of my top 3 biggest inspirations. Happy Birthday Andrew & thank you for everything you do & the wisdom and knowledge you impart on me.
Hire old teachers (over 50). We had to create our own curriculum and deliver multiple presentations daily. Had to be original and flexible minute by minute. When many of my corporate friends found out, they stayed in their office jobs!
Agreed. Most people have no concept of the complexity of being a teacher. I would add being a performer to the other aspects aspects you mentioned. I'll bet there are many more even we don't recognize.
Thank you Andrew for your videos. You motivated me to get a German passport in addition to my American passport. My dad was a German citizen when I was born. It took a while to get the necessary paperwork together and take a trip down to Atlanta, but it was with it. I got my German passport last week. 🎉
@@ericl6386 Thanks. I spent every other summer in Germany as a kid. I have traveled over every few years since then. Still have relatives over there. I will be going again in about a month to visit cousins. It will be neat traveling with my German passport. I may attempt to do the entire trip with it.
I have noticed that the majority of the comments come from us less affluent people. You really make a difference with your comments and suggestions. We are another huge untapped market. I have gained so much from your videos over the past few years as a senior single woman. Thank you for remembering that we do exist and Happy birthday.😊
I've been subscribed since around 10k subscribers. I admit, I was glad when I saw you come back to the regular programming. This channel is you, and you've had an immense impact on many (including me) even if you don't realise it. Happy birthday mate.
Good for you!! This is so important and all entrepreneurs struggle with "turning it off"... You are inspirational and I'm glad you took that time for yourself.... Happy Birthday 🎉
Your humble leadership is one thing that makes you and your company so appealing. Thank you for your transparency and self honestly. A great role model.
Congratulations and happy birthday. I have become a global citizen watching your videos. I totally understand. I journal and maybe because I am a women that I faced that feeling a long time ago. I left corporate america and I know those people you talk about. They are scared, insecure and unhappy. Being true to yourself is not easy but it’s worth it. There is no better life than to know yourself and do what it takes to make your life fulfilling. Congratulations on that, I will never be a customer due to my net worth, but I have what you now understand. Love and acceptance start with you..once you love and accept yourself you become open for others to do the same. It’s a great life being a global citizen and to go where you are treated best
Happy birthday Andrew! Thank you for all that you do. Thank you for being your open and honest self. Thank you for making a difference in this world, even to people that have not yet become your client. Thank you for making your videos. I trust you, admire you and very proud of you.
Thank you I am a retiree ! I own two homes paid in full and a small savings! I’m glad you’re opening up to people who aren’t 6 and 7 figure people but still would like to relocate!
This is the best video I’ve seen from you. I’m sure you’ve read From Good to Great. Everything filters down from the top, and at the top everything emirates from the beliefs developed during childhood. Introspection is the key to growth. Thank you for sharing your own process and vulnerability because it gives others courage to do their internal work too. We all need to love and support and love the little boy or girl within us.
I enjoyed getting this chance to see a bit more of Andrew's personal side. He's a successful at business but he's also very human and humble. Happy 39th Birthday AH 🎂🎉🥳
Andrew, I personally needed to hear this video for so many reasons. I can't thank you enough for being so open and honest in this video. There are a LOT of us that have suffered through the same things you've been through. It helps to have someone we admire like you show us that we are doing the right things. Please keep making videos like this. I'd love to see these kinds of videos more often. Entrepreneurs need this kind of encouragement and example. Love your company and I hope I can be successful enough one day to be able to use your services.
I would love to one day use your services but even if I dont - you are a shining light - you give people hope - you are nomad capitalist- I remember that video and I am more than happy you are back. Oooh looking forward to what you are bringing to the table. Much love to you and thank you.

Loved this video Andrew. I'm a current client. Stay strong. 99% are behind you and the 1% that arent.... well. Nothing we can do to those. Hope to meet you one day. Moving to KL in July
Thank you for your kind words! We appreciate your support. Looking forward to meeting you at our Nomad Capitalist Live event in Kuala Lumpur this September.
My goal of starting a business is never to sell, but to create an opportunity to do what I love. I would feel like an alien everytime I would say it out loud, but it's great to hear someone else finally say what seemed so obvious to me. The thing about speed really resonated with me. Was talking with a friend, who always takes ages to make a decision about anything. I asked him, what exactly is there to think about for so long? I came to the realisation that there is no thinking. It's just coping. A paralysis, brought upon by this idea that there is a "perfect decision" that I need to find, and anything else is a failure. The reality is that doesn't always exist, and an imperfect descision that is swift and decisive is sometimes better than a delayed "perfect decision".
Dear Andrew, have you ever tried fulfilling your spiritual necessity? I went through the same thing when a turned 40, I was a successful business man, smarter than ever, charismatic, loved by my employees and customers but still felt that emptiness once in a while. For the last 5 years I've been working on my spiritual side and I've have seen tremendous results. I take pride on what I do for people and most of all, for my family and extended family but I focus in my relationship with , number one God, number two my wife, and the number three my family and friends.
I'm probably never going to be a customer for your services, but i appreciate the food for thought, and it's helped me to move to another country, which i am enjoying. So thankyou.
You deserve praise ,for you have accomplished much in your life.learn to let yourself go and don't worry how you are viewed , you deserve the best for such a time as this..
A great guy with a brilliant mind and a heart of gold. Happy birthday and wishing you to be surrounded always by kind people and the kindness of the world!
Happy bday Andrew. Long time listener here. You really help motivate me to leave Canada and take more control of my life. Now living in Mexico. Lifestyle has improved dramatically. Lots of what you said in this video resonated with me. Lots of what we do right at our company seems to reflect your beliefs. We do it by being different. Radical transparency, high standards. Completely async, no useless meetings. Can't wait to work with you in the future.
Andrew i just want to say that you're truly an inspiration! I struggle with many of the things you said, especially the self-esteem things. You're definitely not the average person and certainly not anyone can do what you do! I aspire to do what you do someday and plan on coming to your 2024 event, I'm currently 27. Love the content!
This is what real growth looks like and it’s amazing. I also appreciate that while NC is geared towards the higher incomes, Andrew still puts time aside to elevate everybody. His successes are well earned.
Great address, I really appreciated your truth. Been watching your videos since I closed my business end of December and now considering the next thing. Your channel is full of value, love what you're doing to help people see new potentials via moving where they may be treated best. Thank you for the inspiration!
Working ON your business is so very difficult while you are buried up to your neck working IN your business. You have inspired so many more people than you will ever meet IRL, but please understand that we are out here rooting for you all the way !!
Great stuff❤ I am going through a divorce due to lack of respect and love from my soon to be ex. I am also very dissapointed with the foreign policy of the US govt trying to start WWIII and the lying media both right and left blaming Russia and their allies when these wars are the fault of the American govt. So my next book wil be Nomad Capitalist. I am a not a self employed person so the goal is a finding a work from home positon. God bless Andrew.
I have watched dozens of your videos over many years. This is the most introspective Andrew I have ever heard or seen. Many profound take aways. Many of the required transformations you spoke of I have had to address also, on an ongoing basis. Birthdays have a way of centering us in a reflective space. Very much enjoyed this and look forward to seeing you in the future.
Ive always admired you, & always recognized how intelligent you are. glad you are finding yourself & recognizing your accomplishments. If only more people were like You. Happy🎉Birthday 🎂 Andrew!
I love that you shared you are seeking kindness and were mindful about that. I am finding the world (US-Based) is so divided and antagonistic. We forget to emphasize kindness. It's draining my soul. Thank you for putting that out there.
Bravo! My favorite video of yours so far. I can tell you've really done the deep and hard inner work. That is something most people don't do because it takes real courage. Thanks for being you.
Happy Birthday Andrew. I have been viewing your content for years. I tried to use Nomad Capital’s services to assist In Citzenship by Descent but at the time I was informed that Nomand was not providing these services. It must have been when you were weeding out the corporate slackers. I have read most of the books that you mentioned but like your other selections. I highly recommend “Build” by Tony Fadell he has a chapter on not hiring assholes. Life is too short for having Toxic/Negative people in one’s life. You need to ferret out this cancer and get rid of them ASAP before they infect the rest of the team or your personal relationships.
Just watched this video now. Happy belated birthday. You are a beautiful soul, Andrew. It shows so clearly in this video. One can clearly see that you are a special human being. Even though I don't know you you have shared with us a glimpse into your heart and for that I am thankful.
There is deep value in introspection and inventory of your talents because if you dont have a rudder and a compass, Andrew, others smell that as a weakness and will push you around. A compass, a rudder, then boundaries personally and professionally. Then, once you have your purpose, you can drive. It still requires constnt vigilance. Best wishes, Kiwi
Well, I’m glad that you are putting together some small programs for people who aren’t quite the upper echelon. I don’t belong in the United States anymore even as a veteran I don’t feel welcome here I have put together a comfortable residual income in the United States, which will easily make me very comfortable in many countries, and I have been looking for some more tidbits of information before I go put my boots on the ground.
Your most personable and, real, human video yet. And thus, most impactful. Your financial advice is impeccable. But being real and talking from the heart, is more valuable than all the money in the world. Kudos. Happy birthday, Andrew.
My siblings and I all found you independently and started sharing your videos! We love you! I am so excited to hear what you’re doing to help people in the next phase! You are so good at what you do and I’m glad to hear that you’re staying in the game and not selling! Thank you for sharing alittle of who you really are with us today on you’re birthday! Happy 39th Andrew!! Here’s to 39 more!
There is a saying “They join the legion because they want to be loved”. Your observations on moving away reminded me of that. Love your thoughtfulness and humour.
I have been following your videos for a while now. I am not a 7-8 figure or even a 6-figure earner. I don’t “fit” in your group, but I am and entrepreneur (on pause right now). I have kept asking myself ‘why do I keep watching Andrew and his brilliant company’? and at this moment, 16:16 into this video, I am crying because now I know… as you talk about the message of The Boy the Mole The Fox and The Horse, I know… I too am looking for that place to belong, to love, and to thrive and make a difference. I thank you for your transparency. I thank you for all you do. At 67 years old I am planning and scheming and trying to find a way to live in a place where I am treated best, a place where people still love, and a place I can thrive. I hope to meet you someday. You are the kind of person I would love to be friends with. You are younger than half my children, but you are such an encouragement to me! Keep going! Not only can you do this, you are making such a huge difference in so many lives! In my life! Thank you Andrew! Happy Birthday!
Congratulations! Your channel has already helped me change my mindset from 'black pill' doom and gloom about Muh 'Merica to optimism and hope for a better life elsewhere.
Happy Birthday Andrew! Love these genuine and personal videos that you allow us to see Andrew the guy. These are the best. Wishing you success and happiness.
A belated happy birthday, and thank you for your transparency. I.m an 70 yr. old off gridder in central BC, and living my dream. Sadly my government seems hell bent on stealing it from me. Listening to you for a year or so has teased me to the point of seriously considering liquidating my holdings, and doing it over in a place that would treat me better. A heartfelt thank you.
Best wishes! on your birthday, Andrew. It's quite remarkable what you have accomplished: Starting off as a kid who just dared to follow his heart. ...There are those who may go through a lifetime Not ever nearing the thresholds that you have crossed! Congratulations, And much luck along your ongoing journey.
Belated birthday wishes, Andrew. Much of your business depends on your vision and personality. You’re building a legacy so definitely keep going. Three decades ago businesses running family offices didn’t exist, you’re a pioneer for an industry which services require more structure and that’s what you’re doing. It will become increasingly important for individuals and families.
I'm a couple of years older than you but at 40 I lost all love for my primary business and that love has not returned. It's actually watching these videos that inspire me to push forward and start other businesses which are more aligned with my longer-term vision. Great video Andrew and Happy Birthday!
I’m 59, one year south of 60, No million dollars, but love your channel, and loved this birthday reflection. So spot on and I’m learning. I did take the little I had and bought myself the cheapest home in a great locale, so starting (again) from there. Keeping my options open for the next 20 years of my life. It’s a great ride. Thanks
I so appreciate you sharing not only what you learned but you're why, who you are & who you intend to keep being & celebrating. I certainly celebrate who you are which you express thru your misssion/calling, that some describe or define as your business. :)
You really are an inspiration, all my life people thought I was an alien for always pointing out the obvious, to want to go Where you're treated best. My journey is just beginning and I hope one day to be able to meet you in person. My best wishes to you for the years to come.
Nearly EVERYTHING you mentioned in this video I resonate with. Andrew., I've been watching your channel for 3 years now. I'm subbed on two channels. I can say without a shadow of a doubt, YOU deserve the things you've mentioned that were imperatively important to you. I salute you and wish you nothing but the BEST and peace of mind
I went to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Because of you. I found my future home. Happy birthday Andrew.
Wow, glad to hear that!

Good for you!! This is very inspiring and insightful. Happy Birthday 🎉
Deep and meaningful video! Thank you and Happy Bday to you! I'm saving this video to watch again and again!
Awesome! Thank you!
Your Best Video! Insight only time and experience can teach you. Well Done! Thank You!
very profound. You hit on many great points. "looking for your home" etc
Great stuff❤
I am going through a divorce due to lack of respect and love from my soon to be ex.
Happy Birthday, Andrew. Thank you for your transparency and talking from the heart. You share great wisdom.
This is the first time I've seen the, soul, behind what Nomad Capitalist stands for. And I love it!
Thank you for putting that out there.
you are an angel Andrew, thank you for alllll your energy, insight and love...............God bless and protect you 24/7..................
Bravo! My favorite video of yours so far. I can tell you've really done the deep and hard inner work. That is something most people don't do because it takes real courage. Thanks for being you.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Just watched this video now. Happy belated birthday. You are a beautiful soul, Andrew. It shows so clearly in this video. One can clearly see that you are a special human being. Even though I don't know you you have shared with us a glimpse into your heart and for that I am thankful.
Simply brilliant. Full stop. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Well said!!
I agree, thank you Sir!!
Happy birthday Andrew! 🎉This was so interesting! Thanks for sharing your story
I'm 10 years ahead. Love ya buddy. It only gets weirder the more money and more success you have.
Andrew, I hope your year ahead flows with beautiful harmony
Awe-sum and Inspiring. This video should be shown to all teenagers.
Looking forward to it. Me and my wife definitely feel disconnected from the culture and the people in America.
Home is where we are loved and I still haven't found my home.
Best of luck! There’s a lot of UA-camrs that vlog in countries, there’s a lot you can digest on youtube alone.

Wishing you success and happiness.
thnx for the booklist. congratulations on your success. pat yourself on the back n speak kindly to yourself
Happy Birthday, Andrew. I'm in my 70s - it's not how old you are but how content you are with yourself 🙂
Happy Birthday Andrew, times flies so fast totally agree
A belated happy birthday, and thank you for your transparency. I.m an 70 yr. old off gridder in central BC, and living my dream. Sadly my government seems hell bent on stealing it from me. Listening to you for a year or so has teased me to the point of seriously considering liquidating my holdings, and doing it over in a place that would treat me better. A heartfelt thank you.
Check out Norway....
Best wishes! on your birthday, Andrew. It's quite remarkable what you have accomplished:
Starting off as a kid who just dared to follow his heart.
...There are those who may go through a lifetime
Not ever nearing the thresholds that you have crossed!
Congratulations,
And much luck along your ongoing journey.
Beautiful share! Thank you! Happy Birthday and many more! I look forward to the day I qualify to be your client❤️
Thanks
Happy birthday Andrew. Thanks for keeping your viewers informed.
I so appreciate you sharing not only what you learned but you're why, who you are & who you intend to keep being & celebrating. I certainly celebrate who you are which you express thru your misssion/calling, that some describe or define as your business. :)
You’re great…. And you’re honest… and you been helping people for years!
Andrew! You are my hero! Genuine, real, and authentic. I want to be just like you or better one day!!!
AH is the Nostradamus of Nomadism. Celebrate 🎉 !
You really are an inspiration, all my life people thought I was an alien for always pointing out the obvious, to want to go Where you're treated best. My journey is just beginning and I hope one day to be able to meet you in person. My best wishes to you for the years to come.
Happy Birthday Andrew. May God continue to Bless you, your family and The Nomad Capitalist Family. Nomad Capitalist is an inspiration to me.
Wow, Thank you!
