    Andrew,
We - the 92% - are proud of you. Maybe that sounds silly, coming from a stranger, but that's how I feel. Thank you for practicing the radical transparency that allows us to share the journey and learn with you along the way.
I hope you understand this for the compliment it is: I feel sure I would enjoy working for you. Part of the fun in watching this channel comes from behind-the-scenes peeks at the company life of NC. This message was a real treasure.

It's a burnout feeling even when you like your work. It really piles on close to the 30 yr career mark as your parents pass and you realize your remaining time is less than your past. The value of personal time over business becomes more clear and some feelings of regret over past use of time start to creep in. So, take time for yourself and loved ones earlier than later.

Thank you for bearing your soul in this one, Andrew. You add value to so many peoples' lives. I resonate with what you said on so many levels. I was at the top of my game 3 years ago, having, as a single mom, taken my 6 kids to live in the Czech Republic. In spite of tons of criticism from family for doing that, we loved the people and they loved us, we built a business and we flourished. Then, because of covid, we had to come back to the US in 2020. Almost instantly, I was attacked by narcissists in every sphere of my life. I fell into that freeze response and I've pretty much lost everything and am having to start over. But, you sharing gives me hope. Those people think they've crushed me and that I'm done, but they've got another thing coming. I will not quit. I will not give up. The best is yet to come. And next time, we won't be coming back.

I’m a Canadian (America Lite, without the attendant ostensible perks of the US but sharing all of the socioeconomic downsides). Recently acquired my EU member passport and am giving Czechia a hard look even with not speaking the language (yet). Can you speak to the biggest cultural/socioeconomic differences (both better and any worthwhile worse) that would may immediately impact an under-40 expat settling there long term. Of course Prague would be the obvious initial target to set up for future plans due to English prevalence but was wondering about more “on the ground” tips that cannot be easily found online. Thanks.

    • @Pl-qq4yl
      @Pl-qq4yl Рік тому

To help you with your question , Prague is already full of expats from all over the world. Yes, you can use English and learn Czech over the time, but the locals are not that friendly as they used to be before. They are tired of all foreigners. Prices are sometimes more than in Canada or US. I would opt for less crowded place. Czechia used to be diferrent than it is now. @@jasperalberts7647

My goal of starting a business is never to sell, but to create an opportunity to do what I love. I would feel like an alien everytime I would say it out loud, but it's great to hear someone else finally say what seemed so obvious to me.
The thing about speed really resonated with me. Was talking with a friend, who always takes ages to make a decision about anything. I asked him, what exactly is there to think about for so long? I came to the realisation that there is no thinking. It's just coping. A paralysis, brought upon by this idea that there is a "perfect decision" that I need to find, and anything else is a failure. The reality is that doesn't always exist, and an imperfect descision that is swift and decisive is sometimes better than a delayed "perfect decision".

Dear Andrew, have you ever tried fulfilling your spiritual necessity? I went through the same thing when a turned 40, I was a successful business man, smarter than ever, charismatic, loved by my employees and customers but still felt that emptiness once in a while. For the last 5 years I've been working on my spiritual side and I've have seen tremendous results. I take pride on what I do for people and most of all, for my family and extended family but I focus in my relationship with , number one God, number two my wife, and the number three my family and friends.

There is a saying “They join the legion because they want to be loved”. Your observations on moving away reminded me of that. Love your thoughtfulness and humour.

I have been following your videos for a while now. I am not a 7-8 figure or even a 6-figure earner. I don’t “fit” in your group, but I am and entrepreneur (on pause right now). I have kept asking myself ‘why do I keep watching Andrew and his brilliant company’? and at this moment, 16:16 into this video, I am crying because now I know… as you talk about the message of The Boy the Mole The Fox and The Horse, I know… I too am looking for that place to belong, to love, and to thrive and make a difference. I thank you for your transparency. I thank you for all you do. At 67 years old I am planning and scheming and trying to find a way to live in a place where I am treated best, a place where people still love, and a place I can thrive. I hope to meet you someday. You are the kind of person I would love to be friends with. You are younger than half my children, but you are such an encouragement to me! Keep going! Not only can you do this, you are making such a huge difference in so many lives! In my life! Thank you Andrew! Happy Birthday!

Congratulations! Your channel has already helped me change my mindset from 'black pill' doom and gloom about Muh 'Merica to optimism and hope for a better life elsewhere.

A belated happy birthday, and thank you for your transparency. I.m an 70 yr. old off gridder in central BC, and living my dream. Sadly my government seems hell bent on stealing it from me. Listening to you for a year or so has teased me to the point of seriously considering liquidating my holdings, and doing it over in a place that would treat me better. A heartfelt thank you.

Best wishes! on your birthday, Andrew. It's quite remarkable what you have accomplished:
Starting off as a kid who just dared to follow his heart.
...There are those who may go through a lifetime
Not ever nearing the thresholds that you have crossed!
    Congratulations,
And much luck along your ongoing journey.

Belated birthday wishes, Andrew. Much of your business depends on your vision and personality. You’re building a legacy so definitely keep going. Three decades ago businesses running family offices didn’t exist, you’re a pioneer for an industry which services require more structure and that’s what you’re doing. It will become increasingly important for individuals and families.

I'm a couple of years older than you but at 40 I lost all love for my primary business and that love has not returned. It's actually watching these videos that inspire me to push forward and start other businesses which are more aligned with my longer-term vision. Great video Andrew and Happy Birthday!

I’m 59, one year south of 60, No million dollars, but love your channel, and loved this birthday reflection. So spot on and I’m learning. I did take the little I had and bought myself the cheapest home in a great locale, so starting (again) from there. Keeping my options open for the next 20 years of my life. It’s a great ride. Thanks

I so appreciate you sharing not only what you learned but you're why, who you are & who you intend to keep being & celebrating. I certainly celebrate who you are which you express thru your misssion/calling, that some describe or define as your business. :)

Nearly EVERYTHING you mentioned in this video I resonate with.
Andrew., I've been watching your channel for 3 years now. I'm subbed on two channels.
I can say without a shadow of a doubt, YOU deserve the things you've mentioned that were imperatively important to you.
I salute you and wish you nothing but the BEST and peace of mind
