I lived and worked at KPP for four years back when I was young. Really miss that country, but I've been out on the west coast for years now. The north end, where you went, is nice, especially because there are way fewer people up there, but if you haven't been in the central and south parts of the park, they're really incredibly spectacular. There's nothing like those pure white quartz mountains anywhere else on Earth.
Sounds beautiful! Definitely plan on going back.
