I just did this job(same sled) if you disconnect upper frame work and nudge it out of the way, steering vertical rod free to float, you can remove both valves intact w/out removing exhaust system, better to bench assemble both valves
Use of wire brush is a big NO because it scatches the valve and the gum will adhere faster and stronger next time. Even the manual says no wire brush...
I'll give you a trick so you do not have to remove your VES anymore... Polaris Extreme Oil and half a can of Seafoam in your gas tank... Your VES will be super clean ! Polaris Extreme VES Oil barely smokes and the sea foam get's rid of carbon build up. Just my 2 cents. Great video anyhow. I did a similar video to yourse 4 or 5 years ago.
I have a 17 800 xcr rush I bought it at the beginning of last season it has 10000 on it just wondering how often this should be done thanks great video
Idk if you can help me but my rpm only goes 8200 max rpm i cleaned my power valve this summer do i need to reajuste the power valve i have pro rmk 2016
excellent and very informative. Now I am going to tackle my sled that has the same valves. Thanks!

AND Thats why I went back to the older open sleds. Wrenching time is about half the time as a new sleds
Your not kidding. There is a lot less room and everything is in a tight spot.
@@ModdingAddiction no need to take exhaust out.
if it can help, I have a prormk 2015 and I did it without removing the exhaust wich make me save a lot ot time. great vidéo tough!

Could be a hole in Reed if it came with one
Coat the blade with your 2-stroke oil before finally inserting back in cylinder.
That’s a good idea thank you
