It's so true, how climbing can be for you whatever you need i to be. It's different for me now, turning 70 as I am; it's no longer about being the strongest leader in my group of friends, but in being the old guy with the vision to see and clean and bolt beautiful lines where once there was only choss, and to be today the best climber I can be today. I get at least as much pleasure now from creating opportunities for others as I did when I climbed to impress myself! 🙏
