It's incredible how dialed he had the first section to the knee bar. I don't think I saw him adjust a single foot or hand. Totally efficient. And then I got a little emotional seeing how emotional/nervous he was after making it through the crux. You know he put so much time and effort into that. Fantastic climbing!
I have been watching his foot placement all his climbing, i think he readjusted only twice (one at the second knee bar). Also his mouvements are super fast. Yes total efficiency !
Huge respect. What a battle on such an epic route! The raw footage had me feeling every emotion in every move. This is how climbing films should be. Respect Eder and Steve.
Awesome to see the emotion. The climbing was so smooth and then very composed in the rests. You could tell that a lot of time had gone in to this. Congratulations :)
This is GREAT! Simply GREAT! You can feel ALL the emotions all along the climb... Hold by hold, you feel the flood of success, a success that, a few tries before, you believed was still so far ... and now is real!! This is the beauty of our passion, this is climbing. Congrats to Eder for his huge achievement!!
It’s amazing to see how long he rests on something so hard. It really makes it seem like if he can rest for something like 6 minutes on a 9b that 10a could exist. Imagine this same route with none of the rests! It has to be out there somewhere. Awesome flowy and fast climbing from Eder, loved watching it!
Amazing, congratulations from all my heart!!! I wished we had more videos of uncut send footage!!! Let us simply see the send, we don't need crazy cuts and edits all over the place! Thank you to MonoCulture Films for the footage and congratulations to Eder Lomba!
That’s great to hear, often send footage gets cuts and edited because it’s not good all the way or doesn’t show some parts of the route especially on long climbs like this. Luckily Malham has a couple of angles that allows to film the route in its entirety
This is beautiful. His movement is so dialed and his outbursts of emotion as he gets more and more confident that he's going to send it before reeling it in again for the next crux section is so rad to see.
This is great. Given the difficulty in filming and the number of visits you and Eder must have made before the successful redpoint it is a real privilege to see the actual ascent full and uncut.
@@monoculturefilms5868 thanks for doing that. That way we can learn more. Its really easy to fast forward if someone doesnt want to watch the full rest

that’s what I like about redpoints, you get to know how to climb perfectly
Nothing beats uncut, pure climbing footage. Well done, Eder!!
Wonderful climbing, and a great job capturing the send like this. No music, no fluff, just amazing climbing.
Thanks! It was too good to cut or edit!
@@monoculturefilms5868 very good taste

Amazing effort. Such a fun guy; always supporting everyone at the crag and keeping the day interesting. So happy for you mate!
It is crazy how many people climb 9b that you might never heard of. Such an impressive climb. Congratulations.
Thank you for not ruining it with a commentary. I hate that trend.

So well said!!!
18 minutes on the wall 🤘🏾so solid and beautiful to watch!
Love the birds flying through on the kneebar rests. Gives us viewers something else to look at ;)
Amazing stuff Eder. Appreciated your foot work. Well done on the send. 🎉🎉 good job on the camera work too🎉

Such an inspiring moment, sent and climber!
Incredible send -- thanks for sharing the uncut footage
¡Felicidades! That footwork is a thing of beauty
I don't know the dude and I almost cried as well! Incredible! Well done.

WOW! That was stunning! Crazy send dude, so inspiring🔥🔥
Fantastic achievement and very emotional to watch him become overwhelmed by what he has accomplished... that last, strangled "safe"...🤗

There’s a huge element of luck too, but considering I filmed both this and his send of Rainshadow, he might just climb better on camera😝
Increíble! 18 min en 9b! Maquina
Amazing! Superb climbing by Eder.
Yes! Absolutely incredible effort, such raw emotion!
i love this vid. so natural so cool. 9b!!!!! he climbs it like a 7c.

Grande Eder, muchísimas felicidades por este pedazo de encadene!!! Muchos abrazos de la peñita de Grecia.

Which brand of knee pad is Eder using here? They don't look like anything I've seen.
They are called BlakPad, you can find them on Insta @kneepad_blakpad

Mixed emotions...I'm sure he would if he repeated it
Skip 9 minutes of rest and you have a wonderful 9C.
With a comment like that… I think you should show us how?
@@jeromymostert1252 Your comment is nonsensical. Reboot.
