Many of the greatest athletes are faced with a serious injury at some point in their lives and how they deal and come back is a true indication of their mental and physical capabilities. Very impressive and inspirational.

    Bravissima Claudia!
This ascent is as much a testament to her mental strength as her physical strength, inspiring!

Amazing video! Being stubborn (Claudia sais "testarda/stubborn" not "perseverante/persistent") is definitely a quality and not a weakness. Every skill has their drawbacks and this goes for mental skills too. Sometimes we just need some external strategies to prevent ourselves from pushing too hard! For example, Janja is also stubborn, and to preserve herself from going too hard (toe injury) she decided to skip the comps completely. You might say "it would be better if you could just be able to control yourself" but in the long run, being stubborn is one of the most important mental skills of the best athletes in the world.
