Thanks so much for the "coil" part! I've been cramming mine, before this

I store them with the Purge Button Pushed, so that the o-rings don't get pushed always in to there seats.

Nice short video. But I have one question left. My regulators have a pre-dive/dive switch. Which position is best for drying and which for storing?

That's just the venturi. Doesn't matter the position

Personally I just roll them up as described & put them loose on my Gear Gulper storage box. I don’t believe in keeping all gear in separate zipped up boxes & bags & if some things is stored behind a zip I leave the zip partially open. All my gear I store in a cupboard inside the house & never had a problem. I clean my gear thoroughly & ensure all is 100% dry before putting away.

Would it be good to vacuumpack your regs?

    Storage?
My regs are being used every 2-3 days on average. I don’t have time to muck around with bags or perfect shaping of hose.
Also, remove hose protectors, they hide problems with hoses and hold water against fittings.

So with both DIN and yoke regulators there’s an area that is never really gona get cleaned well when you soak it because the cap is installed, but salt water does get into those areas. Do you guys then take off the cap, cover the regulator inlet with a dry finger, use a damp cloth to wipe around, then air dry it?

So a question about storing in a furnace room. I understand that when an electric motor starts it gives off ozone that causes plastic to degrade. Any suggestions for us folks who live in the great white north??

I spray a little "liquid silicone" on metal parts.

You guys need to workout your audio. It's always muffled and quiet compared to other videos.
