Watched the show ever since you mentioned it on your channel.Never regretted the decision.Even seeing scenes from this video reminds me of the moments.The great thing of the show is it’s not just a show which used ROTK’s characters as an attraction to fans of the novel.It also cleverly inherited characters n event reference material of the novel into the show and that itself impressed me a lot.I never like production which take a material and turn it into something that’s entirely different and leave it an empty shell of its reference.It’s insulting to the work the show’s taking reference from n fans who probably watched the show because of the reference.Legend Heroes,was one which just able to do justice to ROTK and at the same time,still be a Toku show with element from the Big Three(KR,UM & SS).It just shows how much heart n work are put into the production.A true work of art,not some one-time money-grabbing gag IMO
It's a Korean Tokusatsu show using Chinese mythos. Yeah, I'm watching this.

20:20 THIS IS MY FAVOURITE PART OF ALL LEGEND HERO!!! The music, the action, the setting, the history, everything about Sao Sao’s transformation and debut is just pure gold and I use this clip of his fight so people understand just how badass this show can be and definitely is. And if they do watch they’ll understand the writing and cleaver character arc sao sao has to show just how much of a masterpiece legend hero is. This scene alone is the perfect example of why legend hero is one of the best tokusatsus of all history and if anyone has an argument then I welcome conflict, I have 50 episodes of legend hero and a ton of historical literature to back me up.

My personal favorite character in Legend Hero is Cao Cao. While Liu Bei is compassionate and forgiving, Cao Cao is the embodiment of justice. Liu Bei and Cao Cao are kind of comparable to Sonic and Shadow. Another reason I love Cao Cao is because his Legend Hero animal is the Phoenix, which is one of my favorite mythical creatures ever! Plus, Cao Cao always takes the stuff Liu Bei has and cranks it to eleven! Guan Yu has a sword, Xiahou Dun has a sword and a baton-like gauntlet. Liu Bei has several guns (Guan Yu Gun Mode and Huang Zhong), but none of them are on the same level as Xiahou Yuan's shotgun! Cao Cao is Legend Hero's stereotypical powerful and edgy character!

That is not exactly a turtle although it is a turtle it's called a shuemu it's a turtle with a snake attached or wrapped around it l, the snake is commonly a tail of the turtle or just wrapped around it

I watched the series in two days! Beat that Ryota Murai!!! (He’s Yusuke Onedera’s actor btw who finished Kuuga in three days) I beat a TOKU actor’s record on binging a show! Ha!
Glad they uploaded all the episodes on UA-cam and including English subtitles. Best of all, IT’S NOT REGION LOCKED!!! Unlike some OTHER company that makes Tokusatsu. *cough cough* Toei Company. *cough cough*
And I bet Toei's stinginess is costing them…… (and they thought the only way to save themselves is through dinosaurs and an anniversary series which mostly just focuses on lots of fan service but with poor plot.... XD)

Basically insane outdated japanese copyright law, its not only on tokusatsu but almost all japanese entertainment product having hard time gaining success outside japan, just look at idol culture, japan start it back in 1962 but now korean idols is far more famous worldwide
This is exactly the kind of Sentai/Kamen Rider type show I've been looking for. Maybe one day they'll make a Dynasty Warriors type game with these characters.
I just happened to came across this series during its first few episodes. I was initially put off by cheesiness of the Hero Pieces and Mecha, I stuck around long enough to really sample the story. I enjoyed it enough to continue watching it on a weekly basis up to its finally. While not perfect, it's still as good as the top tier tokusatsu series out there. Or at least in my opinion.
Now, It definitely give me the feels of a K-Drama and A Tokusatsu...
These HOKR got me back into shows, thanks to History of Drive and not only found Drive amazing to watch but Ghost, Wizard, OOO, and Foruze a rider i thought was lame but now I can't wait to see in History of Riders, and of course my boy Gaim

8:57 The set for giant mecha fights looks... pretty sub-par, compare to Super Sentai and Ultraman series. Kinda reminds me of the 60s to early 90s toku series.
I finally finished watching all of Legend Hero and you were right! This is absolutely amazing and totally worth the investment of time!
I marathoned the series of Lengend Hero as soon as Marc talked about it. Honestly, It's awesome, the flysquito guys were hilarious, but I do think the last 10 episodes draged on just a bit and the last mech fight felt a little easy.
Glad this video's being made. Hopefully people will finally clean up the wiki pages for that show.

*completely ignores all Spoiler warnings* I've already seen this series. Love seeing (or hearing) others opinions on it. Honestly, I think you should do a small mini-series on this. Giving a few details on each fighter. Maybe 2 or 3 warriors each episode.
As person who grew up watching this show, in my country Indonesia there is a TV channel that used to air alot of Legend Hero. And not only that they also made locallized versions of Legend Heroe's toys, as matter or fact I still have the hero pieces and weapons of Guan Yu, Jang Bi and Jo Youn. Eitherway I still love this show

Almost a year and a half ago I watched this video when it came out and personally gave it a pass since I was trying to enjoy Kamen Rider at the time, Zi-O was ending and Zero-One was in its beginning stages, and I was excited for it that I never thought to watch anything else.
5 days ago I took the extra time to watch shows not from Tokusatsu and reviews to see which one I started with first, then I found this video again. I forgot how sappy and likable the review and the show seemed to be and personally I remember wanting to watch it only for it to be overshadowed by Kamen Rider at that point in time, so the next day I decided to watch the series front to back, all 50 episodes.
Today marks the End of a Milestone for a very enjoyable show with many twists, turns, and comedic performances. I absolutely love the cast and the show overall. The only gripes I had with the show is that I wish it had a bigger budget so that the Final Battles didnt fail as bad as they seemed to, the suits looked fine but I could tell that using them must've been a major pain. I also wish Sun-Ce had his mech have a super combination with all three parts in a way that how Legend King Majesty was. A few of the dualogy of episode themes did fall flat personally aswell (I'm looking at you Skunk), but even with those flaws, the clever and comedic writing made me appreciate it even more. I'm unfortunately confused as to how Episode 6's Ending Segment and Episode 42 or 43's plot twist works when theres two different people but I'm not trying to divulge any necessary info, just wanted to ask for clarification if possible.
The finale also didnt surprise me, I partially understand why they didnt show the final fight, the winner was very obvious, regardless of plot armor. I'm not spoiling anything about it, just saying it was understandable.
Overall, I would recommend this series for those who want to see fun, comedic, and overall enjoyable Kamen Rider Ryuki 2, Legend Hero the Three Kingdoms, 9/10.
I wish there is a season 2 of this where the devil him self comes and makes his own 10 legend heroes who are evil
So the angel gives the og legend heroes the memory's back and our doesn't want to fight again but seeing the evil legend heroes destroy he realises to stop these guys is to fight them and defeat them and then all the og legend heroes fight the 10 evil legend heroes in the war of heros and darkness who will win who will die this is legend war
that is a great idea! it's a good plot for a movie too!!
Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are pretty tight that they swore an oath of brotherhood in the peach garden and when they died (Guan Yu was killed by the Wu forces and Zhang Fei got assassinated), Liu Bei snapped and declared war on Sun Quan yet it backfired as Wu crushed his forces in the Battle of Yiling.

Wow! As a korean American I always wanted Korea to have their own type of Sentai show and as a kid I remember one but it literally was just a dude wearing a motorcycle helmet but this show looks great! I wish they continued with it

First I was confused by the change in your name but now I understand it. Second it’s the first time I see you and it was somehow unsettling but after a while I got used to your presence in the video. Third I love Korean Dramas and Tokusatsu and now after watching this recap I have to say that I will be watching this show all day.
I didn’t know anything about The Three Kingdoms and I mistakenly thought it was about The Three Kings from Christmas but now I will be checking more Chinese literature thanks to this story and more. I like how the series deconstructs and reconstructs Liu Bei’s idiot hero status. (Spoilers)
In some episodes, he faced a lot of hardships and has many close to him suffer/die. Many people also consider him nothing more than an idiot. But as the series continues, he strives to improve himself and bring out the best in everyone. By the time of the last episode, he becomes the ultimate winner.

three videos on Toho's Chouseishin Series, they're are a trilogy of tokusatsu/henshin hero shows created by the company that makes the Godzilla movies. They're pretty unique and underrated.

I like the theme, battle between rider, but the mech fight is my least favorite part because it look tedious. If they were only focusing on the fistfight maybe I consider this as my top 5 favorite tokusatsu ever.

idea for a second season: Arthurian legend theme with heroes being named after kings and pieces named after knights
Oh, my god! As a King Arthur fan, I would totally watch that show! I actually had a similar idea for a Comic series that was inspired by Legend Hero (and Kamen Rider Ryuki). The only difference being that the fighters use the powers of figures from Arthurian Lore, Mythology, Fairy Tales, and even History. The powers come from Gems that also house the spirits of the original figures said powers came from (for example: if someone possessed a Gem that housed the spirit of Miyamoto Musashi, Musashi would be able to communicate with said Fighter). I envisioned the Main character being based off of King Arthur and the Rival/Anti-Hero character being based off of Sir Lancelot. I'm thinking about calling it "Legends Reborn", but I might change it since it sounds similar to Legend Hero. What do you think?

I also notice that mecha battles are rarely used.
