'Press credentials', generally only issued by a private company if they are holding a 'public media event' on their property and a press credential is issued to only those the company wants on its property. Or they are issued by the police department that allows certain media that have been given 'press credentials' ahead of time which allows them to cross police tape while reporting on a story. Everything else everywhere else the courts ruled long ago that every U.S. citizen is the free press. I know all auditors know this, this is for anyone reading that doesn't.
