Someone reached out to us recently to share the brilliant news that they have secured their first paralegal role in a litigation team. 👏
They also asked for our advice. Specifically, how do they:
1. Manage the fast pace and high pressure of litigation; and
2. Impress enough to hopefully secure a training contract.
The full answer to this question was covered in our Partners in Crime Podcast, but a snippet is below. As you'll see, this did lead to a conversation between John and Hayley about the importance of working hard, but not at the expense your work / life balance.
Whilst we know that the ideal work / life balance is different for everyone and there's no one size fits all, it's great to see that is a topic that is being discussed more and more of late.
