Alone..so alone....but in the distance, this song played. The tears fell, the legs stood; I moved my feet toward the lonely chapel on an Army post just outside Nuremberg. I walked in and sat down in the back pew. The chapel was empty and it was night. I got up, walked up to the front of the chapel in the little sanctuary and fell to my knees, weeping and praying and asking God to take this nothing of a life and change it. I gave myself to God that night in 1973; He has never let me down since. Never alone again. Amen.
Karl-Heinz Müller .... dear brother... this is a hard time...a different world than that we grew up in. but I hear you and I understand. I was there in my heart cuz my brother was there too. he came back so broken...he never really recovered. I wish you blessed days and peaceful nights.... love to you.
I may be 16 years old and this song may be 30 or more years old but i can truly feel the spirit of the living God in the song. Hallejuh to the Lamb of God.
as a young kid (16 yrs old) I remember playing this song over and over again, as my tears fell. I truly felt Jesus Love and his spirit.. brings back so many memories of my Mom and young sisters and all the good times we had at calvary chapel and pomona valley Christian center!
This is breaking my heart...I remember being a babe new Christian.... Tears....how life can break us over time....I hear this and I am 15 and so in love with Jesus.....I'm so glad I was there for this Jesus movement...it was....so beautiful....
Margie Staneff I get the same feeling. We were so young and simple in our faith. We wanted Jesus just because He was Him. But then we grew up and decided to read the Bible so we could win arguments. I long for that simplicity and purity.
LeopoldUlysees nice to know someone understands how I feel...thanks for the support, Leopold. We were really blessed to be a part of something so beautiful... Glad you got to live it too. Blessings to you.
Me too, since 1971 as a high school junior. I forgot the day it happened but I will never forget the experience. I asked the Lord don't ever let me forget Him and He hasn't. PRAISE GOD!!
Wow! This was one of my LP's from 1980. My favourite Chuck Girard LP was the one with Rock 'n Roll Preacher and Quiet Hour. I think hearing "Feel the Love" now is the first time I've heard it in about 30 years. I'll always be a fan of the good old days music, especially Gospel. Thank You, Lord, that no matter how many decades pass by, You never change.
Clear lyrics; simple, precious love (lots of it) for the Lord and for each other; less division in the Body; more unity; and a sincere and overwhelming desire for people to come to Jesus and be saved, it was our purpose not just to live but to share Jesus, like it's our only reason for being here. It was a great time to be alive and experience God together. I believe it is important for those of us who experienced the Lord together at that time (early '70s), to not forget we were chosen for that experience in God and now we must stir those embers of Christ's love and unity once again and share it with this new generation. How be it, brothers and sisters, "The fire on the alter shall not go out! God is not finished with us yet! Drive on; One Way! And Maranatha!
This one really Moves me...ThankYou For The Playlist! God Bless You! I was Born Again in 1976 as a US Soldier while Stationed in South Korea....I Was BLESSED To Know This Music...and Maranatha Singers & knew Of Pastor Chuck Smith, Calvary Chapel of the 70s!
I find it so difficult to think that believing in Jesus has become so unpopular.. our time together now, on this planet feels so full of devided... Jesus is love.... I miss that.
My musical partner talked me into arranging this song for an upcoming set, but sent me the "mix" version, whioch drove me nuts 'cause the time signature is way askew, unlike this version which is dead on. Glad this obne was out there. A really beautiful old school piece that will draw you in, mesmerize you, and do a number on your soul.
Great Gospel jams. Hope n pray that YT never illegalizes this good Gospel music! I also hope more of the Gospel "doo wops" from groups like the Gospelaires and Pilgrim Jubilees (including the original1960 recording on Peacock, Stretch Out) will show up.
Lyrics: Save the sadness for another time Save the words for a song that rhymes Save the crying for the ones who've lied Who've missed all the meaning And their souls have died Save the doubting for the morning sun Bringing daylight where there once was none Feel the warmth that each new day can bring By believing,....by receiving Him Feel the loooooooove Feel the loooooooove Save the heartaches for the yesterdays Now's the time to change our foolish ways Feel the love the Son of God can bring By believing, by receiving Him Feel the loooooooove Feel the loooooooove
Anyone know if a person can buy these on CD? The old ones like these. I played these back in the 70's when I was first Born Again!!! So cool to hear them once again!!
I thought this record was from the early 70s the Jesus Freak days. To mean not very interesting even though I own the album I do like the cover but to me this music just feels superficial ask those most Christian music. Sorry but Christianity let me down throughout my life

anointed music knows no age.
You're 25 now and I hope God has safely kept you. He's the same yesterday, today and forever.
