As someone who works in a nursery (preschool) I appreciate parents like NL. What you do as a parent at home we do X 12-30 kids plus more academic and developmental things as well. If you let your kid bring a toy they love in or don't label clothing and it gets lost or broken 90% of the time that's your fault as a parent.

Riddle me this: why is subpar negatively connotated when it is something you actually aim for?
Because it means to perform below the 'par' expectation. I golf, 'subpar' play means you hit more than the par number of strokes, but 'below par' is good since you hit below the amount for par. In this game, they flip the script and 'subpar' is a good thing. Holy moly, what a clever play on expectations!
Only in golf does it mean something good because in golf you want LESS of a score, instead of a higher score like in basically any other sport. But even in golf, subpar isn't really used.. it's more often referred to as below/under par.
NL's take on the playoffs thing is silly. If the final is only exciting if your team is in it because you're "unaware of" the other teams, how is the first round more exciting for having more teams if they're teams you're "unaware of" anyway? Sounds like he just means the first round is better because he can watch his team.
I loved the look of this game so much and the gameplay within 5 minutes that i actually bought it on my phone , its £5 and only has 1k downloads its crazy! Same with on steam no reviews.. Such an underrated game! It's made by the creators of holedown which everyone loves.
