Weeping willow trees are good for wet areas. I live in PA and have some planted in low areas on my ground. Plus once you get one started, all you need to do is cut a branch off and stick it right in the ground and it will grow. You can get a lot of trees from just one.
Great job! Thanks for sharing. When my Mom passed the buyers of her house had to have the neighbors to did out their grounds because for years it flooded her back yard and under the house too. Hopefully the neighbors will compromize to help you out.
I love how sometimes you mix up your words, or even use words that don’t exist it makes you so human to me also making you one of my favorite UA-camrs. Keep growing brother it’s no surprise you’re doing as great as you are .
Man Blake you've had bad luck with flooding. I'd say put tile drainage pipe in under the ground and let it run out somewhere. Hopefully things get better soon. Here in ohio our farmers use tile which is like drainage pipe under the ground and water runs through the pipes and out to the ditches. It keeps the fields from flooding.

The drainage is a woww problem for sure. If everything from the far side of property slops towards the water logged area, youll have to put some of that dirty in the other areas to, because if you put to much drit behind the goat shed the natural flow of the yard will build up and flood the other area. Can dig and put those big black drainage lines along the back fence al the way to the road into drainage. can put one down the path of the capibara (cant spell that) pathway to the back of the property line and hook it to the other one. Just alot of digging. Id say bring the dirt to the far other opposite end and raise and slop just a bit to the back of the property and do your drainage like you said.. it will definitely help.. the turtle area can raise it so the water slops to the front of their enclosures so it can then follow>>>> and keep draining.
He explained it near the beginning. One of the neighbors decided they want 'dry land all the time' so they brought in dirt and have made the previous natural flow disrupted and three neighboring properties flood. Having a good draining system won't combat arrogance and selfishness.
@@dadzawa_actual how will not combat anythink? 🤦♂️ it will drain his property and surrounding water that comes on to his property.... it’s not up to Blake about other people properties got think about your own.

How about a pump when it stops raining u can pump it out? That’s what we do in our ranch well use too because we level everything and n made a cannel system so the water can go to a man made lake
I actually like these type of videos better, they are more raw and not planned and it really feels like we’re apart of something 😊 I do hope all animals are okay
The goats are still fighting, despite the rain. Because, they are just special. 😂 thank you for avoiding doom and gloom in such a terrible flood. I wish you well.
Damn thats a scary situation,i now some plants that can help with all the water. For Trees i would say Oriental Arborvitae is the best option cause they can stand the heat and possible droughts and suck water like a straw, now if you want something pretty Daylilys are the best opt. and some Blue elderberry bushes also!Have a nice day...
White birch trees are like sponges to water you should plant a bunch of those on your property, I pruned one of mine on my land in the spring after the thaw one year (I am from Canada) and water was practically pissing out of the branch I cut lol
Aww So Sorry Blake feel sorry for the animals .. pray that it stop raining wow your sister is brave to walk barefoot in the water .. she amazing thanks for the awesome camera work you do for us..
The rain in the south is warm rain -- but here in Los Angeles it is COLD - I would never go out in the rain here without a shirt....the rain is VERY cold (it only rains from October - April - and rarely at that).
Hey blake i wish i could help u but i am in kansas i cant miss work but i do plumbing u need some french drains thats what we call them here its drains that goes around ur goat shed u run your pipe first then you could spread the dirt on top of the pipe that water will drain to what ever you take to ur goat shed whould nice in dry keep ur head up love your ranch
This happened to me and it was the same thing you said. The neighbors did something in their backyard and when it rained I had water up to my back door. My whole yard was flooded. So I feel you. So sorry. You just went through this. Praying for you.
Willow trees work great up north here but not sure if they will in Florida. You should kill out those fire ants while you can. You have a great Sister!
Baobab trees suck up a TON of water and produce edible fruits that could be useful. Retention pond with added dirt to elevate parts of the yard would be highly recommended as well. Mangrove trees could help but they are better at covert salt water than retaining or sucking up fresh water.
I would use the soil hill near where the Emus went. What I would do is level that hill out and get a load of soil and then it's should be slot better cos you have all different heights. Level it off and it will run else where.
You just show the ultimate true meaning of the word " ANIMAL LOVER" you and your team have my respect po you guys are amazing. keep it up po. God bless you and your family 🙏❤🙏
😲 OMG that look just as bad as it did when the hurricane came through I hope you, your family & all the animals do better I also think it would be a very good idea to dig a mote on the property line at least 3'-4' deep & same with so it doesn't happen as bad next time maybe even make 2 of the sides really wide like 10'
Put 6 to 8 inches of pipe drains along the enclosures these drains can be connected to a package pit.... The entire water can be channelized through these path

You should dig a big drainage ditch over on that side. That’s a lot of extra work for you and stressful for the animals. Great job, Blake!

Neighbors won’t change for you. You need to haul in 500 truck loads of dirt and regrade your property so that they flood.
Invest in some sort of Pump/Drainage system Blake😎
The rain do be pouring in LA too ! Guess its rainy cold weather now
You need some prop soak aways built in to your property. Under ground tubes that run out to the road to carry the water away
