Put 54 spotties on deck between myself and my buddy outta glorietta bay today all C&R. My buddy got a nice hali on the warbaits underspin. The season is upon us. Stay bent!!!
Cool video. I'll be rockfishing Catalina on the Gail Force 3/20. My plan is to primarily use flat fall jigs, and switch to double dropper loop glow leadhead/paddletail & bucktail/grub if the jig bite slows and/or I get tired. Looking for those big lings, reds & hopefully white seabass, yellow or big halibuts.
@@WARBAITS I am going to try this same technique today. Drag a drop shot and cast the Underspinner. Got my 2nd rod exemption this year. Going to put it to use. Thanks for the 💡
hey man ! i use a lew mach 2 baitcaster slp combo for saltwater , am i fine with that ?( i usually also always hose down after a sesh in the salt ) Only wanted to ask because your youtube channel has helped me a lot while fishing , and I was genuinely curious for this. I had also broke off and lost all my line , do you have a recommended line for me to get ?? I fish at the harbor in newport and mostly just those docs. Keep up the great videos man , my favorite channel !
Sounds like a good reel. Always wash with fresh after salt use. (Eventually the salt will destroy any reel). I think 30lb braid is great for the bay. I like smooth braid for bay fishing. Then you can tie on your leader line of choice. Hope this helps
I’ve been having luck fishing dock slips with a 3/8 Ned head and a strike king rage tail baby menace in a craw daddy color pitching and dragging slow. On tackle warehouse go to the “double tail grub section” GL
Hey there I’m just getting into fishing off the kayak and I was just wondering in this video where are you launching that kayak from what part of the San Diego Bay are you at I’m kind of new to the area I’d appreciate your help have a good day
Get on google maps and look for beaches. Anywhere that has a public parking and water access is fair game. I've even walked a lite weight kayak down rocks to fish where the San Diego River dumps into the ocean.

Nice!
Is my lexa 300 and 8ft rod overkill for these bay fish? If I’m fishing the 3/4 ounce mb warblade and a rigs for halibut and spotted bay bass?
What rating is the rod? I wouldn’t say it’s overkill. It might be tough throwing the lighter baits though
@@WARBAITS 2-8 oz lures and 15-40 line
@@WARBAITS My war blade just came in! Can’t wait to try it for halibut and spotties!
What do I fish when it’s raining WARBAITS???

Looked like shelter island by the new pier/boat dock they made

ShelterIsland Launch Ramp and Glorietta Bay by the bridge are great places to launch
Yo run a catch and cook ?
The bass tricks has been outed 😭
haha, they are finally making them again.
