Rob, you are building a supercar, this is not a typical youtube project. Take all the time you need, build it right, once it is done it will be worth it, anybody who leaves along the way will just hafta come back and watch all this stuff when they see how insane it turns out.
You want engagement?! You got it man!! Awesome video keep it up! Nice to watch someone who does 95% content and doesn’t waste time talking to the camera 24/7 👍👍
I cant imagine how excited you are about this thing getting done. I legitimately get excited about the update videos. Do it right, dont worry about falling behind schedule a little.
To be honest I don’t know why people don’t like these videos more, these go over what it actually takes to build insane cars. Putting more boost through an engine than it can reasonably handle and watching it fail prematurely isn’t cool, that’s just expensive. The channels I enjoy the most are the ones I learn the most from. Keep building this insane Mazda, and forget the people who don’t appreciate hard work and design.
Tubes, tubes every where. even here on youtube. I can't believe you make this happen, the first ever AWD FD in the world ! I love this series, cant wait to see that beauty running.
Words can't express how much I love Rob. He's self aware, he doesn't want to sell out, he doesn't want to constantly do sponsored videos, he doesn't even push his channel by encouraging likes and subscriptions even though he should. This is a man who has a passion for cars and just wants to share that with everyone else. Even though he obviously gains from these videos, he doesn't treat it like it's for his own gain, he's just taking us along for the ride. A lot of people don't even realize how funny he is. To those who haven't seen it, watch his video parody that he made in 2012 called "rotary love". It's hilarious. On top of all that, he just seems like a good guy, a guy you want to go to a bar and kick back a few beers with, (you'd have to buy the beers though, Robs spent all his money on a 4 Rotor). I can't wait see this thing done, I hope all his hard work, research and funding pays off for him.
PSA to Humble Automotive UA-camrs: If you make genuinely good content, remind us viewers to like. I often forget how much it really helps out the video views. When I'm reminded, I immediately go and like.
I'm gonna be really sad when this series is over. This has been a monumental build, that will change Automotive and Rotary History. I enjoy being a part of it, and seeing this process in (semi) real time.
@@pierremanson4105 yea everyone thinks awd is the best for drag racing but it's really very hard to get right. And from what I'm seeing with this 4 rotor and heard he's building this car to go 300mph and 2000hp. I think 300 is a bit of a stretch.
Agreed - there's really isn't much content out there (both youtube and TV) that doesn't capture this level of custom fab work. It's a privilege to watch honestly!
Never stop, Rob. This is a proper build - not throwing a pre-built engine into something. You learn so much more seeing the full process and that's a lot of why I watch car videos.
Love it. More progress videos! People see all these finished cars, but never get to see what actually goes into it and all the progress/setbacks. Awesome work for someone who isn’t using their mommy/daddy’s trust fund to build the car This car is on a whole other engineering level for someone who doesn’t have endless pockets
I don't understand how people always want the finished product and no process. The process is teaching and teasing for the final product and in the end makes it even more fun to watch and more rewarding for Rob. You're building a fucking dream car man
Rob, To be completely honest this video series is unrankable. Not only is the build completely unique, its an engineering marvel. We cannot wait to see the finished product and are excited to watch its journey. Thank you Rob. Excellent content. You know your content is good when you do not have to click bait your viewers.
This is real legit content for actual car guys rite here. Video series like this are the reason Cletus McFarland and now you have my two favorite channels. Leave the hooning and jackass driving like A-holes to Choy and DDE, leave the I just buy expensive cars because I can and drive them around like I’m a normal guy but I’m really a pretentious D-bag to Parker. This is what actual cars guys want to see. Hell im not even an import fan but I’m in love with this build.
I just watched the reveal of the Hoonitruck, they spent 2 years building it but they had the help of an automotive giant, Ford and countless other sponsors. You taking time is understandable when you want to do it right and not sell out. Godspeed ROBERTO DAHMINIC
Favorite UA-camr is Rob, dude is humble, smart, interacts with his fans with respect and doesn't act like a douchebag even though he has money. The Hoonicorn and your RX7 are my two favorite fully custom cars of all time. The level of engineering, design, attention to detail, love, craftsmanship and dedication to this project are on par with Ken and the Hoonicorn. Keep up the hard work brother I've been a subscriber since your first Rx7 video like 7 years ago, quality content man.
We all are literally connected to the build like you are, literally the most amazing and detailed build on UA-cam ever and what an amazing car it is gonna turn out. Best of luck on the build.👍👌
I've been watching your videos daily and look forward to this every morning. You video bring out the inner boy inside me and reminds me of my old racing days in the garage tinkering with my car. This build is RAW in the sense that I can actually envision myself in your shoes. No cinematography, no big company sponsor money....just straight grinding thought the highs and lows. I love it.
I watch this build the second I see it and I don’t know anything about this type of car. Very well done and it’s not waisted time on stupid stuff. Loving it keep them coming!
Hey what you and these guys are creating is a work of art, I think I can speak for all of us in saying we absolutely appreciate the documentation of your progress going through the whole build. This is artistry and craftsmanship at its finest, keep up the good work man!
The technical aspects of this build and quality of workmanship, are what I come here for. I’m glad it’s not just burnouts in a hack job lol Keep it up!
This is by far and away the most in-depth build series I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Love the channel, I've been a big fan since the original Diablo vids
I personally love all the small updates, I've been around since before the cts got lingenfelter touches and I still watch every single video the day they're posted
Holy balls, I'm so excited for this car to finally be done. Two years ago I never thought this would even happen, but here we are. Seems like you've turned this into your full time job and you're loving it!!!
You are like the only guy I actually listen to if you ask me to like the video. Because this is the first time I heard you asking for it. Great content , Rob. As always!
These past few weeks or so should make it abundantly obvious the reason why this project has taken longer than expected. Every little detail is perfected on what is essentially a totally brand new car with the look of an RX7. This isn't just a 4 rotor engine swap, this isn't even an engine swap and an AWD conversion, this is an entire car being built! Great job Rob and crew, keep up the good work!
I love seeing the end result, but the story and fabrication getting to the end product, that's where it's at, as a fabricator I appreciate the amount of work and engineering, and trial and error. Keep it up!
Massive credit to you Rob for following through with this massive (& awesome) build, it must be costing you a fortune to build to this spec. Nice work by the chassis guys !
At last.Turning a concept that was crudely cobbled together into something that will work well.Thank goodness you found patient and knowledgeable fabricators.
I love these videos so goddamn much, Rob. This level of professionalism and quality while still being documented in-depth like a backyard build is the content I've been craving my whole life. Very very stoked for the continued progress.
Ohhh, I like it a lot. You have better patience than people who have commented in the past Rob. It’s paying off now. Have fun with the process man!! Happy for you.
You're not going to get 1 million views per video because the average UA-cam viewer doesn't have the attention span to watch all the small detailed parts of building a car...but this is engineering porn to me and I had to give you props. Bravo sir, best RX7 build in history
I can already see the 1 mill subscribers coming after this project is finished, just please don't forget about us og subscribers, I have 4 accounts subscribed to you rob, appreciate that please.
Man, the fabrication process, the attention to details is insane! I'm truly speechless. For me that is a artwork. My dream is to work on these types of projects... But, for me that lives in Brazil is almost impossible due to costs and some others things. I'm happy to see you happy Rob, your dream coming true. (Sorry for my rusty English)

I really enjoyed watching all these videos. I personally think it is very awesome to see all the work behind the scenes that goes into building a car, even if it isn't the 4-rotor. Keep it up!
The car build is just on another level, so amazing. I just wish they would double up on the thickness of the steel supports that are holding those A-Arms in. Then again these guys know what they're doing.
If im gonna be honest Rob, this is what i want to see! Sure the 4 rotor is gonna be insane to watch when its done but the work and thinking behind it is what i find super enjoying. And these videos makes the final result so much cooler than just a video of the complete build making some donuts.
