I have an iMac and it was the same process except I had to go into finder, then find my iphone on the left, and then follow the process that way since iMacs no longer use iTunes.

This does not work on an iPhone 14 pro. Also if that phone had been factory reset, he would of had to sign into his apple ID account, but we didnt see him do that.

Don’t hold down all buttons, only click the volume up & down buttons each ONCE, and then hold down the power button till the cable screen comes on. I tried it, it worked for me

My step daughter just paid the $750 upgrade fee and now we have a brick .metro pcs let us leave the store without this one being activated and they killed her old phone. Needless to say when the new phone sent the iTunes activation code. And she didn't have an active apple device to accept the code. It bricked her new iPhone 14.
We are stuck on the restore button on the iMac. It shows restore on the phone screen. And gives us the first restore button on the PC screen but then stops. On the second restore/update buttons. It just sits there nothing happens. Hit the button 1 million times. It's frozen. T he update button works but can't update a locked phone. Lol
After clicking restore, noting happenes.
